Q: 1. If I plug in my Powerbase 70 battery (14.8v) to the input can I use the 15v output to power my BMPC 4k?

A: We imagine you mean plugging the Powerbase via the D-tap of the Pinch and then using a cable you have to power the BMPC 4K. This is an unknown combination and therefore, if you proceed you do at your own risk. It probably will work; do test with a multi-tester meter before doing so. Otherwise we do recommend using a V mount battery with this or the appropriate cable with the Powerbase to power your BMPC 4K.

Q: 2. This product seems to be the only V-lock/Gold-Mount camera rig power supply that has such a combination (D-tap, USB, 7.4V etc). It would be so good to know that I can power my GH5, EVF and Sony wireless audio link (via USB output) from this battery mount. Can a Lanparte expert please advise if the grounding issues have been resolved?

Q: 3. I'm a video filming enthusiast. What products would you recommend for me to buy when I film by DSLR or cinema video, I want to connect an Atomos Ninja Blade 5 recorder and a Teradek Vidiu simultaneously. A: Part of the answer depends on what camera you are using and what connection it will use. The two other devices can use the P-Tap output easily. Also they can use one of the barrel connections. The correct cable for that purpose would have to be specified by the manufacturer before you ordered so that you get the correct one. Q: 4. Does this work to charge the battery? The version with the anton bauer mount has reviews saying it won't actually charge the battery, so I'm wondering if the v-mount version has the same issue

A: Yes it does. I've had success in charging V-Lock batteries using the plate.

Q: 10. Can I use this with a Nikon D810? That camera use a 7v, not 7.4.

A: I am using this item with my D810 for video shooting. A dummy battery works fine with the cord attached without any problem. It seemed the minor difference of 0.4V won't kill the camera.

[0.57 lb] I use this unit with my Panasonic GH4, Quick Release Gini Rig, and Atomos Shogun. It powers my GH4 and Shogun for many hours (4-5) with my AB Hytron 120. In addition, it helps to balance my Gini Rig, which also includes a Fotga DP3000 matte box and Gini Rig follow focus. I use d-tap to d-tap with the Shogun's dummy battery, and the dummy battery for the GH4 plugged into the 7.4v. I couldn't be any happier. 5

[Black] Bought from B&H new in Spring 2018. Still working in Summer 2020 without issue. Crossing my fingers, never had the issues others describe. Used with Maxoak V mount batteries. Never tried charging the batteries via this pinch as I believe manufacturer instructions said to charge via the battery's d-tap. Used with several monitors, GH5 and BMPCC4k. 5

It's rugged and durable too. It also also charges the battery when plugged into a wall socket, so an external charger isn't required. The Lanparte comes with all the cables too. 5
