The Oberwerk TR3 Hardwood Tripod Maplefrom Oberwerk TR3 Hardwood Tripod Maplepresents an elegant, American-made option for mounting a camera or optic weighing up to 40 pounds. With a maximum height of 57" and a peak leg spread angle of 25°, the maple tripod meets most instrument-support needs.

Laser-engraved leg scales allow for precise setup. Oberwerk's patented Slip-Stop legs prevent slippage caused by wood shrinking in response to changing humidity levels, which could otherwise cause a tripod to topple and damage gear. The mounting post is a standard 3/8" stud. The non-wooden components of the tripod are made of aluminum, and the hardware is stainless steel.

Q: 1. Will with work with the B-Grip Uno?

A: Hello, sorry for the late response. I unfortunately can't answer this question for you as I don't own any Uno products... The only thing I can say is that I own almost all the line of products that B-Grip has put out so far and I simply love them !!Build quality, compatibility, practicality all awesome.Good day.

Q: 2. Is anyone using this as makeshift spreader of sorts? I have a tripod whose legs spread just a little too wide as their narrowest position and am wondering if this is stable enough to reign them in a little

A: I wouldn't recommend it as a spreader, it would not be stable enough for that purpose.

Q: 3. What's the length of the straps that attached this to the legs? I'm looking for one to fit very large Losmandy telescope tripod, the leg diameter is almost 10 inches. very thick tripod legs. My Vanguard version velcro straps are way too short. Thanks in advance for any answers.

A: The velcro portion has an effective circumference when wrapped of approximately 21cm / 8.2", which means the leg at most can have a maximum diameter of 6.6cm / 2.63".

Q: 4. what kind of heads fit these legs?

A: They take a flat base fluid head. I've got the Manfrotto 502HD Pro Video Head with Flat Base and I love the combination. It's an awesome set up and the legs are very sturdy for a set up under 17 pounds.

Q: 5. Is the Grip-Action Ballhead removeable, to be mounted on a tripod?

A: The grip head on the Oberwerk 2000 Tall Monopod with Grip-Action Head is removable.

Q: 6. Anyone know how much it weighs? I see the package weight is over 10lbs, which seems kinda high.

A: The E-Image Universal Middleweight Tripod Dolly with Locking Wheels weight is 7lbs,

Q: 7. What is the warranty for this model?

A: The Oberwerk 10x32 Sport HD II Monocular includes a Limited 2-Year Manufacturer Warranty.

Q: 8. What is the diameter of the grips on the upper part of the 2 legs? Are they round? Thank you.

A: The top grips are 1.25" in diameter and they are round.

Q: 9. Is this the same one Rollei rebranded?

A: Visually they look quite similar but based on the specs I do not think they are the same. We do not sell the Rollei mini tripod so we cannot directly compare it with the Fotopro.

Q: 10. Is there a locking device for the ball head? Don't see one in the picture. Thanks.

A: The Rotolight Rotopod Tripod (B&H# ROLROTOPOD) does feature a knob (but it's not visible) that may be used to restrict the movement of the ball head so as to keep the light or camera on the tripod from moving. Here's a photo showing it from another angle: https://bhpho.to/46yLch1

[Screw Knob] Soooo handy for storing caps, swapping filters and lens hoods, not to mention a great way to add weight to stabilize the tripod. I leave it in place all the time, it takes up no more room in my tripod bag. Why didn't I get one earlier??

[2] I picked up a new tripod, and usually get some form of hammock to hold ballast, maybe batteries and an intervalometer. This hammock is solid and durable, and doesn't get soaked easily out on the mountains.

[Screw Knob] This dolly is nearly perfect for my needs. The wheels are butter smooth, even working fairly well on grass. It accommodates two types of tripod feet. The legs lock in place via the hand-tightened screw.

I bought this dolly to move a fairly heavy jib rig (about 75 lbs). It handles it no problem. I moved the heavy rig over gravel yesterday and tipped the whole thing over not once, but twice. This was not the dolly's fault. The dolly held up fine. I thought it might get bent or twisted from the falls, but there was no such damage.

The only improvement I can recommend is to replace the hand-tightened screw (for locking/collapsing the legs) with a spring-loaded pin. That would be much faster and equally effective. That's a pretty minor critique though.

[Screw Knob] Super simple to use. It has 3 velcro sections for latching to tripod. And it supported a 99Wh V-mount battery just fine. It's great to have on set too for holding things like keys or phone or headphones.
