A: The Everyday Backpack 30L V2 has noticeable improvements in terms of its width which would provide easier access for the user and a larger compartment for a laptop/tablet. There are also improvements on the zippers and the fabric.

A: The side entries are very convenient and practical to use, just slide the bag around to the side or front and access the gear, very easy.

Q: 5. Does this work very well as a sling bag?

A: The Peak Design Everyday Backpack v2 does not work as a "sling bag", because their is no access to one's equipment from the sides of the bag. Access is from the top of the bag, or the back of the bag.

Q: 6. Would the 30L fit under an airline seat? US flights. Or would the 20L be better for under the seat?

A: Unfortunately, it will depend a lot on the carrier and the specific plane model you are flying in, but based on normal specifications of airline seats (18 x 14 x 8 based on American and Southwest Airlines) this bag is too large for the under the seat area.

A: Yes, the Peak Design Everyday v2 Backpacks (20L and 30L) do stand upright on their own. From testing here at the store, we were able to do it most of the time, but if overpacked and not properly weight-distributed it does take a few attempts.

Q: 9. I have a 13 in M1 MBP, and have heard that the new M1 laptops have issues with turning on when in the laptop sleeve due to the magnets in the bag (used to keep the shoulder straps attached). Is this really an issue, or will the M1 MacBooks have no problem with the magnets in the back of the bag?

A: I have not personally heard of these issues, and we pack many with all shapes and sizes of bags. I would fully power off the machine before placing it into the bag however to reduce heat.
