The A21S from Nearity is an elegant conference speakerphone, featuring sophisticated, second-generation, deep-learning AI algorithms designed to discern and eliminate a wide variety of unwanted noises and deliver clear, intelligible speech for meeting spaces, classrooms, and educational environments. The unit is equipped with an eight-microphone array that picks up audio in a 360° radius at a distance up to 16' away. A built-in 3W speaker provides a frequency response from 220 Hz to 12 kHz tailored to accurately reproduce the human voice. The A21S is a wired speakerphone and features PoE and USB ports, allowing it to easily interface with networked conference systems. Use the free Nearsync software download for Windows and Mac computers to easily set up and adjust the unit.

A: The AVer VB130 4K Conference Videobar (B&H # AVCOMMVB130) does not have a microphone input to connect an external microphone, and it does not support Bluetooth connectivity.

[Yes] I ordered an Alfatron Salut video camera to replace my existing camera/mic system in our small conference room. I immediately noticed an improvement in the quality of the picture over our old camera and the sound quality from the built-in speakers in our meeting area was a vast improvement over the computer speaker we were using. A larger room should really have a larger speaker system as it doesn’t get much louder than the computer speakers, but for our purposes it is plenty. We used it on a couple of ZOOM meetings already and we were told that we sounded much clearer with the Salut than with our old set up. For $250, the Salut is a great update to any small meeting room situation. 5

[Omnidirectional] Our company has a boardroom with an 18-seat conference table and room to bring in extra chairs along the perimeter. We use a Chromebox for Meetings setup for video conferencing for our multinational organization. The Chromebox kit included inexpensive speaker/mic pods but they had insufficient coverage and the wiring can't be hidden. We are using two MT503 units that are daisy-chained together. The speaker sound quality is excellent and the active mic system is impressive. Absolute clarity for all parties in the conversation. 5

[Omnidirectional] we purchased this for building out a hybrid model of our Sunday school classes. Some people like to attend in person, but since the pandemic, many people prefer to church from home with a cup of their favorite coffee. This Coolpo makes that happen for us, and is very easy to setup and conduct through the meetings. I highly recommend this! 5

[Yes] We had a short, wide meeting room where lots of people gather, and people on the road were video-calling into the meetings. With the room as wide and the meetings as chatty as they were, it was hard for remote workers to follow conversations and/or see who was talking at any given time. Additionally, management likes to rearrange the in-room furniture frequently, making in-desk microphones not a workable solution. The 120 lens on this AVer Conference Videobar gets literally every person in the room on screen, and the microphone array is SO much clearer than the microphone solutions we were using before. Even if multiple people are talking over one another, you can hear everyone in the room (and see them) making our remote workers feel so much more like they're actually a part of the discussions. 5
