The Spotlight Max's precision optics will elevate the capabilities of your high-output Bowens Mount point-source light. Its efficient light-blending optical design is compatible with full-color fixtures that can be easily magnified, bringing a new level of flexibility and enhanced output from them.

The light quality emitted by the Spotlight Max is accurate and precise. Engineered to eliminate chromatic aberration and color shift, the Spotlight Max's advanced internal matting also minimizes light leaks. Users will appreciate a highly color-accurate light projection and evenly-lit illumination circle.

Featuring advanced telecentric optical elements, the Spotlight Max produces an even edge-to-edge light distribution with minimal edge-fringing. This technology ensures that the difference between the output field angle and the beam angle is significantly minimized, resulting in a clean beam without hot spots.

Highly versatile, you can easily swap between the Spotlight Max lens options. The interchangeable 19, 36, and 50° lenses allow users to precisely shape their light. This kit comes with the 19° lens, but the other lenses are available separately to cover a wide range of light projection needs on set.

For further light manipulation, the Spotlight Max offers an array of light-shaping tools to expand your possibilities.

[38 x 21.5 x 20"] I searched for a projection mount that would serve my needs. I wanted something well constructed and in a small format. Other mounts either seemed too bulky or too flimsy for my requirements. This unit is the perfect size for the 300 watt RGACL full color LED light to which it gets mounted. The optics are not perfect and focusing the lens takes some practice to get decent results, however those are very minor issues of an otherwise pretty good modifier and value. I am waiting for the 18 leaf iris to come in stock so the unit will be complete. Curious that Amaran made the decision to sell the iris separately rather than include it in the package; I consider the iris to be a normal part of a projection mount light modifier.

[Metal] I have flown 4 times with this and no damage. its built well. its light. no spill. output is good and the gobos are solid. for its price it definitely punches above its weight. dont listen to the other reviews on here.

[38 x 21.5 x 20"] When I initially bought my Aputure Spotlight mount, it came with the 19 degree lens and used it a lot over the year I had it. But found myself about half the time of use, to also need a wide span of light or hope I had the room to back up the light.
Well, enter my need for the 36 degree lens. Many people talk about the output not being as bright as the 19 degree, true. But most of the time I am not blasting my Aputure 300Dmkii at full 100%. The spotlight offers a lot of light in a wide area. In my use, I haven't noticed any colour aberration on the edges and quality of the lens is the same as the spotlight. Metal housing and very sturdy.
On a plus side, it also comes with a nice thick soft case to protect the lens when not in use.
Overall, if anyone is looking to add a wider area of use for your spotlight, get the 36 degree lens and pair it with your 19 degree lens and you have a duo combo for your Aputure Leko attachment.

[38 x 21.5 x 20"] I bought this for use both with my 60d and my 60x. I must say it really exceeded my expectations. I used it with a 60d to front light a stage with full length windows behind, and the spot easily filled in the daylight that backlit the performer. I've also used the spot with the included gobos and iris to create interesting light spills in music videos.
This unit is lightweight, sets up quickly and is very, very versatile. And it puts out a surprising amount of light. With the iris you can get a concentrated pin spot as small as one inch or as wide as 10 feet (depending upon your distance from the subject).
I would say that this Spotlight kit is a must have for anybody serious about lighting.

[38 x 21.5 x 20"] 19-degree lens focuses the light output and intensifies it.
If your field of coverage works, and you are going for a hard-light look, its a great way to make a 300 light very bright

[Metal] Perfect for adding a splash of interest to the background of interviews & talking heads. We use this a lot in our studio, but is also portable and easy to take on-site. 36-degree is good for tighter spaces.

[89 lb] Perect spot lens for my needs. I tested with the Amaran 200X S, and I didn't experience any of the spill the other user mentioned. Focusing is very sharp, but the locking mechanism does shift the lens slightly when you tighten, so you'll need to practice offsetting the focus a hair to compensate when tightening the knob. Not an issue for me at this price point, plus it's my first spot lens so I have no reference to compare it with. I love it!

[Metal] I will never use a traditional source 4 light again. Heat less jelko light.
