A: The lens cap and hood included with the Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens will fit with the attached B+W 82mm T-PRO Clear Filter.

Q: 2. We have an Olympus 35 MM 3.5 Digital Lens. Does the 52 MM clear filter have a thread to fit the 52MM tread on the lens?

A: Yes this filter has a 52mm thread in front and in the back.

Q: 3. Will I still be able to use the lens hood on the Sigma 30mm 1.4 dc dn, on my Sony A6400 with this clear filter?

A: Yes, using the B+W 52mm T-PRO Clear Filter on the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens (Sony E) the dedicated hood the lens came with will fit.

Q: 4. How do you mount this filter to the TG6 ?

A: As per Olympus, the CLA-T01, B&H # OLCLAT01 is needed in this case. https://bhpho.to/380pXa2

Q: 5. In May 2024, does new B+W T-Pro Clear Filter comes in leather black B+W pouches (ones without dust issues.)?

A: Yes, the B+W 62mm T-PRO Clear Filter comes with the leather case inside of a seal carbon box. Due to the manufactures rules and conditions we are not authorized to open a seal box. However I own several of this filters, and if there is any manufacturer dust on the filter, they are very easy to clean using a LensPen cleaner or a microfiber cleaning cloth.

Q: 6. How to mount protective olympus filter onto TG4?

A: You would need the Olympus CLA-T01 Conversion Lens Adapter. See the link here.

Q: 7. does this lens keep the water out in underwater photography ?

A: no. I got the filter to use with an Olympus tg-3, and water dribbled in between the lens and the filter. get the filter to protect the lens above water, but remove it for under water photography.

Q: 8. What's the difference between the Pro and the Standard model/version?

A: Olympus makes only Olympus 37mm PRF-D37 PRO Protection Filter. We are not aware of a standard model/version.

Q: 9. Does the filter have a thread on the front side?

A: Yes. It has a threat on both sides.

Q: 10. How many ft-lbs of force can it withstand?

A: That level of detail is never disclosed in the specifications of lens filters. Depending on where the filter is struck the ft. lbf would be different (striking the metal ring vs. the glass surface), and even differs between locations of the glass that it would strike. So the short answer is: whatever breaks glass would likely break this. The long answer is: you'd have to measure multiple filters, being hit at different ft. lbs, in different locations on the filter itself.

[37 mm] The TG-5 camera probably has a tough front element glass. It does not have filter threads to hold a lens cap or protective filter. To meet my purpose of near indestructible, I wanted a filter I could wipe off with a sleeve or rag and throw away if I ruined it. This 40.5mm PRF-D40.5 PRO Clear Protective Filter can't attach without the Olympus CLA-T01 Conversion Lens Adapter. Between the clear filter and adapter ring the I feel more comfortable of putting it in pockets, glove boxes, packs etc. It seems odd to me that the two parts aren't sold as a package or kit.

[0.03 lb] Every lens I have ever bought previously, I have bought a UV filter to protect the front of the lens but have never been entirely happy with the effect, in particular on the sky.

Since buying lenses for my Olympus Pen-F I have been buying these Pro protection filters. They are not cheap, but I am over the moon with the high quality.

Simple order process with B&H - Fast delivery and well packaged.
