A: In regards to the lens' angle of view, yes, the two lenses would be similar. The Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f/1.4 SL II S Lens does have a brighter aperture, so it would let more light into the camera, and as most lens' sweet spot is 2-3 stops from wide open, I would assume this lens would be sharpest around f/2.8-4, so it could be used at larger apertures and still retain high image quality, whereas the Nikon 60mm f/2.8G AF-S Micro lens would have its best performance around f/5.6-8. Unfortunately, as the Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f/1.4 SL II S Lens is a new lens, I have not seen the optical performance of the lens to compare image quality, but the similarities of the lenses would mostly be the focal length of the lens. The differences would be the Voigtlander should be better at larger aperture settings, should have a smoother, longer manual focus throw, and has a hyperfocal scale on the lens for landscape photography. The Nikon lens would be able to autofocus and provide autoexposure, and will be able to focus much closer for 1:1 life-size macro close-up photography needs.
