A: The Celestron PowerTank Lithium should be kept at around 40-50% State of Charge to be ready for immediate use – this is approximately 3.8 Volts per cell – while tests have suggested that if this battery type is kept fully charged the recoverable capacity is reduced over time. The voltage of each cell should not fall below 2 volts as at this point the anode starts dissolving causing copper shunts to form which will cause an irreversible loss of capacity. Similarly lithium based batteries can be damaged by over charging which causes the cathode to decompose.

Each is more than enough for the power demands of the Sony PXW-Z190 4K 3-CMOS 1/3" Sensor XDCAM Camcorder (B&H# SOPXWZ190). It would also be a good idea to find a voltage regulator to drop the voltage from the 14.3V of the Cube 200 to the 12V that the camera requires. A safer option would be just to use the AC adapter and charger that came with the camera, the Sony BC-U1A Battery Charger / AC Adapter for BP-U90, U60, U60T, U30 (B&H# SOBCU1A).
