It works right out of the box with no software or drivers to install. Simply press and hold a button on the back to pair it with your PC via Bluetooth.
It also comes with a USB dongle if you don't have Bluetooth connectivity, but I haven't tried that option.
The mouse is big without being too fat, very precise and moves well on any surface (I don't use a mouse pad).
The 2 main buttons are silent, no loud clicks, which I really appreciate.
There are also 2 additional buttons on the left side of the mouse, accessible with your thumb, which you can assign to various behaviors with the HP software.
This is my first programmable mouse and I must admit that it is very practical. I feel lost when I use a regular mouse again.

The idea that I can run it with a mouse is amazing. The Bluetooth technology makes it so convenient to use on all of my devices. With the short push of button I can connect to my laptop, tablet of phone. I am so excited to use it more and get all of the buttons customized to my needs.

[1x AA] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of a wireless mouse with a quick connection and no additional hardware needed. This mouse did the trick! I cannot believe how seamlessly it goes between my Windows Computer and my Mac, which was something I did not know I needed until now! It is awesome to have a mouse that tracks on nearly any surface, including some of the tougher surfaces where a mouse pad would be mandatory in the past. Love the comfortable design too, this is a definite YES for me!

It can be connected by Bluetooth to your device or there is a usb piece that you can plug into your computer and connect it that way. It runs on a single triple A battery that’s supposed to last up to a year. It is so simple to connect and use.

[5] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mouse works seamlessly! As simple as plug in and go, I use it on 2 different computers both pc and Mac it still works the same. The mouse also has excellent grip and two additional buttons you can set up.

The mouse is large so if you have small hands it might not feel right, I am getting used to the buttons on the side but so far like them. You can remap them as you like using the hp software also.

I had to manually load the software which wasn't a big issue in order to adjust the mouse sensitivity. I also like how the plug has a storage inside the mouse so you don't loose it. It came with a AA battery for the mouse which also has an on odlff switch when not in use. Overall I would recommend.
