A: No D-ring. But it is a strong mount with stainless steel ( I believe ) bolt.

A: I have no idea of what an RRS clamp is; however apart from attaching cameras to my tripod, I have used this product very successfully by mounting heavy pastel painting boxes to my tripod during plein air painting trips.

Q: 6. Is there another brand Arca-type plate compatible with Sirui C-10S Ball Head? The Sirui plate TY-C10 has no D-ring on the screw, and according to the specs is 30x39 mm.

A: The TY-C10 works fine on my Olmpus OMD cameras; the absense of a D-ring is no problem, all it takes is a quarter to tighten. It is my understanding that any arca-swiss plate should work with any arca-swiss plate, although some my work better than others. I have such a plate on one of my cameras and it works, although not as well as the TY-C10. Not so sure how the Sirui plate would work with larger cameras however.

Q: 7. More to my question ( D ring Nikon D90 or 7000 attached to a 18-105, 80-200 etc) can this plate attached to the ball head accommodate a battery drive attached.?

A: I have a D7200--probably maximum weight for this tripod. The plate loosens each time I move the angle of the camera. I just can't tighten it enough---maybe I'm doing something wrong. But the first time used the tripod the plate fell off as soon as I took the camera off the tripod. I didn't realize it at the time and had to order a new one. The second time I used it, I was aware of this and kept checking the camera. But had to remove and tighten plate to tripod several times. Does this help?

A: Yes. Despite the different in size of the top portion of the plate, this will work with most all arca-swiss style heads, including Sirui's E10 ballhead.

A: YES!! I use this on my D500 all of the time. Equipment on the camera varies - one "heavy" configuration = D500+Sigma 150-600mm/sport+BatteryPack mounted on a Sirui 2204 tripod with the TY-60X. Highly recommend.
