[Sony VENICE 2] First camera cage system from BT and it's awesome. I bought the original Kasbah system alongside the Misfit kick back in the day and was impressed by the functionality, quality, and their efforts to keep things light weight while still strong/solid. When it came time to get a cage for the Burano, I knew I wanted to try BT over the other options that were first to market apon its launch. The side rails connecting top and bottom inspire confidence for mounting things pretty much anywhere on the rig. The sliding top plate is slick, I'm getting another one for quick swaps to my movi alongside a BUD plate for the bottom. The D handle is solid and comfy. Paired with my Kasbah shoulder rig, its the quickest to build and comfiest to shoulder all day compared to other systems I've tried/built in my AC days. You won't regret it! Also the customer service is TOP with BT. They just called me within 15 mins to get clarification on a support email I sent regarding plate compatibility. Who does that these days?!

[5.785 lb] A terrific way to reduce wear on the micro connector on the camera's body, as well as a way to relocate and extend the handgrip cable.

[Sony VENICE 2] This works great, well machined. I'm becoming a fan of Shape.

[Sony VENICE 2] Used for a couple of long days in Australia and it add's much needed functionality to the FX6 in run and gun situations. The quick adjust shoulder pad is a blessing when rigging the camera different ways and rebuilding it, as sometimes we run BP batteries, other times the balance is shifted by V-locks. The mounting plate clicks in smoothly and allows shoulder tripod moves to be done in 10 seconds.

Highly recommended.

[Sony VENICE 2] even though I thought that the pricing is a little on the expensive side I am pleasantly surprised with my new Chrosziel shoulder support for my FX6. I am able to mount the camera in three different positions, the shoulder pad is easy to adjust, comfy and easy to slide back and forth. looks like you can also add a rear rod support which I haven't purchased yet but will def get it

[5.785 lb] It's an amazing follow focus. Haven't encountered a smoother action. It is expensive but worth it in the long run, having dealt with cheap to mid priced FF. This will last a lifetime.

[Sony VENICE 2] The construction is superb! The knurled grip is made of metal and works in all weather conditions and temperatures. Just amazing how Chrosziel continues to do fine work.

[Sony VENICE 2] This cheese plate is exactly what I needed. I mounted it to my CAMVATE DSLR shoulder rig and it holds all my audio equipment.

[Sony VENICE 2] I bought one of these secondhand, and it was having problems with the connection between handle and extender. I contacted Chrosziel with the problem and had me send it in, along with my FX6 handle. A few days later, I received both pieces back in excellent working order.


The extender itself is sturdy, and is quick to deploy with smoooooth action. I like that it's very slimline and doesn't take up much space. As all you fellow FX6 owners know, finding a carry-on friendly case is pretty much impossible if you want to keep your camera built up. Not saying I can because of the extender, but this arm takes up less space in a case than the competition.
