For monitoring and post-production work that requires lens metadata as well as ENG lens control, Chrosziel offers the Meta Mount Active Adapter for Sony BURANO to ARRI PL. When the Meta Mount is used with cinema lenses that feature ARRI's Lens Data System or Cooke's i/Data protocol, focus distance, T-stop, and focal length metadata are transmitted through the adapter's electronic contacts, appear in the BURANO's viewfinder and monitor, and get recorded to the video file for post-production work.

A 12-pin Hirose out connection enables focus, iris, and zoom control for ENG-style, servo-controlled broadcast lenses through the camera, Sony BURANO GP-VR100 hand grip, Sony FX9 top handle, a remote control panel, or the BURANO's web GUI. The Meta Mount has a max power consumption of 350mAh at 12V and includes a set of shims for precise lens calibration, a mini-USB cable for firmware updates, and accessory power cables.

A: The MID49 EVF/LCD Extension Cable (Sony Burano, FX9, and FX6) is an extension for Sony's 40-pin monitor system found on recent cameras, including: Burano, FX9, FX6, FS7, FS7mkII, FS5, and FS5mkII. It only connects to the EVF/LCD and does not allow you to reposition the handle. Here's an optional offset adapter: the MID49 ARRI 3/8-16 to M4x20mm Offset Adapter (B&H # MI9CBLBK38M4), which is a grid of M4 holes spaced 20mm apart with a 3/8-16 screw and locating pins in ARRI spacing. The locating pins can be removed and repositioned if needed.

[3/8"-16 Female] even though I thought that the pricing is a little on the expensive side I am pleasantly surprised with my new Chrosziel shoulder support for my FX6. I am able to mount the camera in three different positions, the shoulder pad is easy to adjust, comfy and easy to slide back and forth. looks like you can also add a rear rod support which I haven't purchased yet but will def get it 5

[Sony Burano] These handgrips are a great design and work well with 15mm rods in our two HDSLR handheld kits. At $ they are an fantastic value. We actually prefer the 403-20, a wider version of these grips that B&H also sells. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=403-20&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=maFor the price you don't get an expensive rosette coupling and hand turnable knob to change the angle of the grips just a friction lock down with Allen head fittings and a small Allen wrench. Set them at the right angle and you'll probably never move them anyway and they stay put no slippage. Simple, effective internal lock down for 15mm rods, one knob underneath loosens both sides. The grips are metal and the newer version we bought from B&H had more finger indentations but we still slipped some hard foam grips from a bike shop on for better control, especially in sweaty hands situations. We've paired these up with RedRock Micro Shoulder pads, RedRock quick release baseplates and 18 Ikan 15mm rods for a very cost effective hand held set up. These grips are better than Red Rock and a lot cheaper than Vocas or Birns & Sawyer. 5

[3/8"-16 Female] First camera cage system from BT and it's awesome. I bought the original Kasbah system alongside the Misfit kick back in the day and was impressed by the functionality, quality, and their efforts to keep things light weight while still strong/solid. When it came time to get a cage for the Burano, I knew I wanted to try BT over the other options that were first to market apon its launch. The side rails connecting top and bottom inspire confidence for mounting things pretty much anywhere on the rig. The sliding top plate is slick, I'm getting another one for quick swaps to my movi alongside a BUD plate for the bottom. The D handle is solid and comfy. Paired with my Kasbah shoulder rig, its the quickest to build and comfiest to shoulder all day compared to other systems I've tried/built in my AC days. You won't regret it! Also the customer service is TOP with BT. They just called me within 15 mins to get clarification on a support email I sent regarding plate compatibility. Who does that these days?! 5

[1.52 lb] Used for a couple of long days in Australia and it add's much needed functionality to the FX6 in run and gun situations. The quick adjust shoulder pad is a blessing when rigging the camera different ways and rebuilding it, as sometimes we run BP batteries, other times the balance is shifted by V-locks. The mounting plate clicks in smoothly and allows shoulder tripod moves to be done in 10 seconds. Highly recommended. 5
