[802.3af/at] Installed a pair of these to transmit to a projector up on the ceiling. POE made it all quick and painless. The unit at the projector is set to recieve from the other unit which can be plugged onto the network from any location around the stage, booth, or the rest of the facility for that matter. Easy for presenters to just plug on and present without fighting the technology.

[802.3af/at] I have purchased four of these devices, and they come in a tiny package that sits in the palm of your hand, but they are super powerful. I have them set up to receive NDI feeds directly from ProPresenter. Two of the devices are powering projectors that are used to fill our 40'x12' DIY Video Wall, and they look amazing and handle all of the scenic projections we throw at it for Theatre and Dance productions. We use the other two to receive a live Video Feed from the Video Switcher to send one Backstage so performers waiting to go on stage can see what is happening and be ready when it is their time, and one to the lobby so that those visiting the concessions can still see the action on stage. It's been almost two months with these and they are performing beyond expectations.

[802.3af/at] Seems to be exactly what I was hoping it would be so far. We were using PCs to do the same job with NDI studio monitor, and it was much more cumbersome. This is very user friendly and simply plug and play for people turning on the TV. No worries about logging into a computer and running additional software.

[802.3af/at] Almost any camcorder produced before 2018 doesn't have NDI capabilities but with the addition of the Birddog Mini, you can make a leap into the world of networked video without any heavy lifting.

Excellent choice for any church or school that needs to stream video but doesn't want to incur the cost of wiring for video. Any HDMI source can be plugged into the Mini and using a local network, connected to a computer with a streaming application such as vMix or OBS. No capture card necessary - it just works.

This is a device that needs to be in the toolbox of any serious videographer.

+ The interface is very intuitive.
+ I selected the desired NDI stream once and it automatically goes back to that stream when it turns on.
+ If the network is strong you want have any issues with dropouts.
+ I didn't see any additional latency compared to SDI outputs from the same machine.

[6.2 x 6 x 2.2"] This unit has got to be one of the best values out there with NDI. It's been a compact little problem solver for us in a couple of places now. Plus, it's inexpensive enough to buy one for the shelf for those just in case moments
Sure, it's not PERFECT, but it's an easy-to-use product still in development, so you know it's going to keep getting better!

[0.685 lb] Replaced a Windows micro computer running NDI Tools that was just too soft a picture quality. Have been waiting a year for this - glad to see it finally released.

[6.2 x 6 x 2.2"] I'm using this to distribute a live feed internally over our network and it just works. We have a small budget so being able to distribute NDI to TVs over our existing network for $150 an endpoint is great. I'm sure the $5-600 NDI converters have more features but all we needed was to display a video feed for people in other rooms and this does it without complication.
