[Yes, 5 Streams] I purchased this camera for my residence and use it on a Mac mini with Security Spy software (excellent for Mac). The camera works great and Ive had it for a year no with NO issues. Auto tracking works great, able to read license on cars driving past my house. I highly recommend this. B & H made the purchase cost friendly and quickly processed.

[Yes] After first purchasing the international firmware version of this camera from Amazon, and found that you could not get support from Hikvision, I repurchased the USA Version camera from B&H. I had problems with using PTZ controls via Hik-connect server. After contacting Hikvision we upgraded the DS-7608-N-E28P NVR software to the most current. Now all is working great. Thank You Kyle from California. He is very Knowledgeable.

[Yes] Excellent camera. Great vehicle and license plate recognition, except if a Jeep Wrangler without roof is passing by. Doesn't pick it up for some reason. Make sure you pair it with another camera, so you can get full pictures 24/7 of what the ANPR camera snaps.

[NAS] The camera arrived from NYC to New Zealand in less than a week.

We installed it and connected it to our HIK NVR.

The camera, actually TWO CAMERAS, are very high quality. The colour's and definition are simply outstanding. Compared to our other older cameras, this new one is so much better.

We are very happy with our purchase. Order with confidence.

[PoE+ 802.3at] I must say that I am surprised with the quantity of negative reviews, because we have had no problems with these units for the approximate four years that we have had them. We have four of these cameras located in our barn to monitor goats that are in labor so we can assist the births at the right time. We control and watch our cameras via the Surveillance Station application that is part of the Synology NAS system. I especially like that you can simultaneously stream three different video resolutions to account for different viewing devices. There are lots of options and tweaking parameters built into the cameras to make it very versatile for each environment.

[Yes] My main reason for purchasing the camera was for the smart tracking that is offered directly from the camera and not needing an NVR/DVR. Initially, I setup the smart tracking via smart events and was having a ton of issues where the camera would zoom in too far or not track the subject at all. After speaking with B&H Photo support they actually got me in touch with Hikvision support over the phone the same day and they deemed the camera had a bad chip inside that was not allowing the tracking software to work correctly. B&H Photo replaced the camera with a new one and just wow.. The tracking is spot on and perfectly tracks now. I can't be happier.


What I'm even more impressed with though is the support that was provided by B&H and Hikvision even though I'm just a normal consumer and not a large customer.

[Yes] After several weeks of research for an ultra wide camera that wouldn't break the bank, I requested a quote and special ordered this one from B&H. Took a bit long to receive, 22 days from order day to DC, as it comes directly from HikVision California, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait.
I'm using this camera with Blue Iris, so I won't speak about the built in motion detection, masking capabilities and other characteristics of that nature. I rely on Blue Iris for those.

Several features that were must haves.
Single lens with 180° horizontal field of view, it has built in lens distortion correction, which can be manually disabled. There's a bit of distortion towards the edges of the image, but this is expected. RTSP capable, outdoor, PoE, WDR, and IR.

Overall 5 stars, if you're looking for an 180° outdoor cam, definitely take a look at this one.

[Yes] If you are looking for a camera who has auto tracking this camera by far is the best I have owned it is 100 percent accurate compared to dahua auto tracking cameras which is about 40 percent accurate the night vision on this camera is awesome if you're gonna buy a hikvision product get it from b&h u know you're getting a genuine product.
