[0.29 lb] Fuji did not provide a charger with the X-T5 and I don't like the idea of depending on in-camera charging (although I did it few times for convenience).
I went with this budget option. There is no temperature sensor, but the battery did not warm up during charging. I found it somehow slow, but that may be the larger batteries in the XT5 compared to older generations of XT cameras, and also to prevent heating. Sincerely, I don't need it faster. I have not tested yet the dual capability.

[0.29 lb] Like that I can drop to batteries in the charger at the end of the day's shoot. But it also has a USB port and cable so take it along in the car and charge your batteries on those long car trips. Charge is slow, but price was right!

[7.2 VDC] These batteries work extremely well! They hold a charge, don’t get memory issues, and charge quickly. I have always relied on Viltrox, and these batteries do not disappoint! I really like that they are white because it helps cut down on heat!

[7.2 VDC] This charger/battery combo is a great deal. Although these batteries don't have nearly the same capacity as the fuji ones, it is really helpful to have these backups just in case. Even without that, the charger is everything I could want and works well with all of my batteries. I love that it has the option to plug in either via USBC or the attached USB-A cable.

[Fuji NP-W235] Long lasting batteries with a good charger at a great price. I highly recommend this combination.

[0.29 lb] I can tell no difference between these batteries and the Fujifilm-branded ones. The charger works great. No complaints!

[0.29 lb] It was a very slight investment to get a pair of Fuji X-T5 batteries and a charger. Wouldn't have hurt too much they underperformed. But I mix them up with my Fuji batteries and have never noticed a difference. Charger takes a while, might just be that I'm used to Pentax batteries that would charge up in half the time, but not a big deal for such a small cost.

[4 x 3.4 x 1.2"] Charges Fuji NP-W235 batteries quickly. Simple and easy to use.

[7.2 VDC] I have 2 of these Viltrox batteries and I have been happy with them. Without having performed a scientific test, I would say these work just about as well as any other battery I have with a similar capacity. The only downside is that they chose to put the capacity indicator on the bottom of the battery, essentially making it useless. Nobody wants to have to power down their camera to remove the battery in order to see how much capacity is left.


These days I'm using more NP batteries than ever and I am looking for batteries that serve multiple uses. In the case of the Viltrox, there is a single 2 way USBC port which can be used for both charging the battery and powering another device. A second, full size USB would have been nice.
