A: yes they work with the R37. That is just what I use them for. My PPA R37 came new with the ear 013.

A: This clip is only compatible with the William Sounds Mic 054 or Mic 090 mini lapel microphones.

Q: 3. what is a 3.5 mm in inches need 1/4 inch ?

A: 3.5 mm equals 0.137795 . This jack is smaller than a 1/4 inch jack but you can buy an adapter to size it up to 1/4 inch. This a mono jack rather than a stereo jack.

Q: 4. Is there a microphone included for use with the transmitter?

A: There is no microphone included, but there is a small microphone jack in the rear of the unit which I have not had the need to use. There is a cable that I run from the ADA to my mixer, and my microphone is plugged into the mixer.

A: Yes this works with the Pocket Talker. Just pull out the spud style mic of the pocket Talker and insert the new style of Mic. Also designed to work with shotgun style mic MIC027, and conference mic MIC049.

A: Yes , any dual ear bud can be used with this system. Williams Sound EAR 042 is a sound canceling dual earphone that works well.

A: The plug on the Williams Sound HED 021 Folding Mono Headphones is a right angle 3.5mm.

Q: 8. Will the PPA Receiver R-7 work with this system ?

A: The Williams Sound FM ADA KIT 1 FM ADA Compliance Kit (BH # WIFMADAKIT) pairs with Williams Sound PPA R37 or PPA R38 receivers to broadcast clear sound. As long as you have a compatible Williams Sound receiver, you can use this transmitter in movie theaters, classrooms, houses of worship, and more. The Williams Sound PPA Receiver R-7 is not compatible.

Q: 9. Can I buy a ADA kit for one? I live alone.

A: I have only seen it for two.

A: The sound quality is very good and more than equal to the applications it is designed for.

[0.007 lb] I have a portable ham radio that produces mono output. When I have stereo headphones plugged in directly, I only get sound in the left ear. When I have the mono-to-stereo adapter plugged into the radio and the headphones plugged into the adapter, I get sound in both ears, which is exactly what I wanted. 5

[1 x 1 x 0.2"] Worked great! I couldn't even find it on Amazon. I used it on a Playstation PS4. I got a "Audio Decoder 5.1 Channel AC3 DTS Decoder" to convert from the digital optical from PS4 to separate Center, Front and Rear outputs. I used this device to put the center 1-channel onto both Left and Right 2-channel. 5

[0.007 lb] Sometimes you need that odd little item that you never expected. I needed to convert my little headsets to mono, so I could listen to my old TV in my RV which had a mono headphone jack. There you have it. This was exactly what I needed. It was shipped in a timely fashion and it works great. 5

[1 x 1 x 0.2"] Arrived in a Monoprice labeled bag. Works as advertised. I use it on a Zoom H4n Pro to get output in both ears when using only one mic on a single channel. I believe you can link the channels in the H4n menu and achieve the same effect, but I had read that this can introduce extra noise into the recorded signal oddly enough. The H4n Pro needs as much help as it can get (its pre-amps are generally noisy), so this was one of a few measures to avoid making anything potentially worse. 5
