[Yes] We used this teleprompter for the first time a few weeks ago and found it to be a great solution for our needs. Assembly took a little bit of time, but it was not difficult. It was a good investment.

[Yes] I live in New Zealand and purchased this model after internet research and speaking to various companies direct including Edward at Telmax. I am an engineer and was most impressed with the build quality of the sub frame - it is solid, rigid and quite substantial. The ZAPrompt software is deceptively simple and offers a comprehensive range of controls over mirroring, fonts and colors, scroll speeds and margin adjustments on the fly- excellent performance. This model is astonishing value for money and the Telmax company are an absolute pleasure to deal with. My endless questions were always answered immediately and courteously- they fully value and understand customer service. If you are in the market for a budget teleprompter, this model is hard to beat.

[Glass] This is a great product that worked extremely well, once I figured it all out! lol It comes disassembled and takes a little bit of thinking and studying the parts to put it together, but nothing bad. Downloading and using the software was a little confusing so I called the tech support number that comes with the instructions and the people helping me were awesome. They took whatever time it took to get me up and running to my satisfaction. I immediately used the teleprompter with ease to do an job. I can't say enough good things about the manufacturing company and of course B&H is my favorite audio/video supplier.

[Yes] For the price this is a great package. It is simple to set up, built to be stable and most importantly, it works. I use it inside for non-profits mostly and beats having adlib remarks. Software loads easily and works well. While it would be nice to have greater flexiblility in crawl speeds the software does allow for recording pauses so that speaker timing works. Would recommend to a friend.

[Glass] Works great. I use it in a very small studio, so we don't use the entire 15 of screen real estate. Eye movement tends to be too much when using it close up, so we just resize the teleprompter app window to be a little smaller on screen. Can't say anything about the software that comes with this device since we use other software instead. The one thing this lacks is the ability for the monitor to flip/mirror itself -- you have to do that in the software or operating system instead. Also, we're amateurs, just filming a video podcast, but works great for us!

[Yes] I use this in a small studio to film instructors / experts for teaching online courses. It's perfect for the job. Sets up easily, and there's zero glare or reflection. The video quality comes out perfect. Basically, other than the talent reading the script, we don't even notice that it's there. The ZaPrompt software is great too. Simple to use and very effective for scrolling scripts. I also often just put power point or keynote on the teleprompter when a full script isn't required. Simply put - it works and I have had no issues after months of use.

[70/30] Does what it supposed to do that's why I gave it 5 stars. no issues. It's big and not very portable, but not impossible to move on location. In fact if you could use it on location the size of the screen is easier for the talent to read from.One tip I would give is to squeeze your text into a tighter column so the talent's eyes don't have to travel across the screen that way it looks more like speaking and less like reading. It's a good tip for any prompter.

[70/30] This product was selected after extensive internet research. Living in New Zealand I had no chance to see anything prior to purchase and had to rely on the Internet to sort out something which was good quality and functional. Well, I am an engineer and this product is extremely substantial and has a feel of almost over engineering- very solid very substantial. It appears to be the best value for money out there and I am a very happy bunny! I have had several email chats with the company prior to purchase and they are immediate with their responses and extremely helpful. The software does what it should, is simple and yet powerful. I thoroughly recommend this company and this product. I can see no real advantage in paying more for a teleprompter, as this one does everything you want a teleprompter to do.

[Yes] I used many different teleprompters before so I new what configuration I have to look at. But at the same time I wasn't sure that this one is comlpetely what I need. So when it came and I did firs shoot with it I realised how good it is. It made with a wery high quality matrials, good glass and this plastic hood with lens hood. The only thing I'd like to be more is monitor connections. There is only dvi-connector so you have to get adaptor for your mac. One more very important thing is software wich goes with teleprompter. I'm in love with ZApromp software. It is very convenient and have pretty all settings you usually need working with prompter.
