[Yes] This product was selected after extensive internet research. Living in New Zealand I had no chance to see anything prior to purchase and had to rely on the Internet to sort out something which was good quality and functional. Well, I am an engineer and this product is extremely substantial and has a feel of almost over engineering- very solid very substantial. It appears to be the best value for money out there and I am a very happy bunny! I have had several email chats with the company prior to purchase and they are immediate with their responses and extremely helpful. The software does what it should, is simple and yet powerful. I thoroughly recommend this company and this product. I can see no real advantage in paying more for a teleprompter, as this one does everything you want a teleprompter to do.

[18.855 lb] Everything about this teleprompter unit works beautifully! It's easy to put together ... easy to mount on a tripod ... it's well made; of very good quality ... and it's easy to attach your camera to. Best of all, my iPad reads beautifully!

[Glass] This is a great product that worked extremely well, once I figured it all out! lol It comes disassembled and takes a little bit of thinking and studying the parts to put it together, but nothing bad. Downloading and using the software was a little confusing so I called the tech support number that comes with the instructions and the people helping me were awesome. They took whatever time it took to get me up and running to my satisfaction. I immediately used the teleprompter with ease to do an job. I can't say enough good things about the manufacturing company and of course B&H is my favorite audio/video supplier.

[70/30] This unit was build right, extremely solid with metal parts. Reading from an iPad or small laptop works wonderfully. I can't say anything bad about this, the software you choose will be the one thing you need to learn and which one is best for you. If you're purchasing you'll want to consider getting a protective case mostly to protect the mirrored glass. The price? That was the primary reason I looked at this in the first place. It's about half of other units and built tougher and, in my opinion, better than others.

[Yes] We used this teleprompter for the first time a few weeks ago and found it to be a great solution for our needs. Assembly took a little bit of time, but it was not difficult. It was a good investment.

[70/30] I was worried that the reflective glass panel for our teleprompter would be too fragile to ship, but alas it was well secured inside of several larger boxes to protect it and it arrived in one piece. Everything arrived when it was supposed to so I would definitely order from B&H again :)

[Yes] We bought this product for a number of corporate gigs. My background is in video journalism, so I never worked much in studio. With essentially zero previous experience I was able to set it up and use it with no problems. Instead of a full size iPad, we actually use an iPad mini, which has been totally fine. There are a number of excellent voice-recognition teleprompter apps out there that pairs nicely with this set up. My only suggestion would be getting a second screw to secure your camera on the baseplate.

[Yes] Does what it supposed to do that's why I gave it 5 stars. no issues. It's big and not very portable, but not impossible to move on location. In fact if you could use it on location the size of the screen is easier for the talent to read from.One tip I would give is to squeeze your text into a tighter column so the talent's eyes don't have to travel across the screen that way it looks more like speaking and less like reading. It's a good tip for any prompter.

[Yes] Works great. I use it in a very small studio, so we don't use the entire 15 of screen real estate. Eye movement tends to be too much when using it close up, so we just resize the teleprompter app window to be a little smaller on screen. Can't say anything about the software that comes with this device since we use other software instead. The one thing this lacks is the ability for the monitor to flip/mirror itself -- you have to do that in the software or operating system instead. Also, we're amateurs, just filming a video podcast, but works great for us!
