[USB-A 2.0] I am happy with this CD/DVD writer. The one in my laptop quit working and so I ordered this one. It doesnt make any noise while I watch my videos. Havent had any problems with it yet. 5

[Slot] I made a mistake and didn't see that the page did NOT mention Linux compatibility. As it turned out, it didn't matter, I plugged it into my laptop - running Linux 19.0 - and it picked it right up. Don't know if it runs on earlier versions of Linux, but 19.0 and 19.1 work with it. 5
