Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hi! is this 35mm?

A: No, this is not 35mm film. The Lomography 120 Lomographic ISO 800 Color Negative Film (3 Rolls) is size 120 color negative print film designed for use in cameras that use the larger, unperforated 120 film.

Q: 2. How many pictures per roll?

A: It depends on your camera and what size frame it shoots. The most common sizes for 120 film are 6x7cm, 6x6cm and 6x4.5cm. If your camera shoots a 6x7 frame (like a Mamiya RB67 or Pentax 67) you will get 10 photos. A 6x6 camera (like a Hasselblad 500 CM or most twin lens cameras) would give you 12. A 6x4.5 camera (like a Mamiya 645 or a Hasselblad H1) would give you 16.

Q: 3. Will this film work in a Nikon N60?

A: Kodak Ektar 100 would work great in a Nikon N60, just not in the 120mm size, you need to order it in 35mm and you're set.

Q: 4. Should this film be frozen from day one or can I leave it at room temperature if I plan to use it before expiration date? Thanks.

A: Yes. Can be left in room temperature before expiration date.

Q: 5. If there are, as I have heard, no numbers on the back of the film, can it be used in older cameras?

A: 120 film may work but not with 220 film as it has no paper backing and the film will fog through the red button.

Q: 6. What is the expired date?

A: Unfortunately, we do not have access to the Kodak Professional Ektar 100 Color Negative Film (120 Roll Film, 5-Pack) to read the expiration date before shipping, but B&H does not sell film that is within 6 months of expiration as new.

Q: 7. How was this film stored, at what temperature?

A: All of our film is stored in a fridge at 39F.

Q: 8. What's the expiration date on this film?

A: The expiration date for Kodak Professional Ektar 100 Color Negative Film (120 Roll Film, 5-Pack) will be at least 6 months after you receive it--this is the B&H Photo policy concerning film expiration dates.

Q: 9. WHAT IS THE EXPIRED DAY?

A: The ones I bought last year expire Feb 2018. But it depends when you buy it.

Q: 10. Is it fresh film?

A: We usually stock fresh film , for expiration date call our Film department

[100] This is a good film for budget shooting or first forays into medium format photography. The numbers on the backing are a bit on the light side, so I can see how it would be easy to advance the film beyond the next frame while viewing through the counter window under certain lighting conditions. I can usually see it under direct sunlight or using a flashlight (nighttime photography situations) best.

[3 x 1.3 x 1.3"] A cheaper alternative to for Pinhole work. It has the same approximate reciprocity as Ektar and isn't bad for the price.

[C-41] I use this film in my Kodak Brownie Twin 20, after I respool it onto a 620 spool. But I love the outcome of the photos. So far, this is my favorite film.

[C-41] My little kodak Duaflex has a fixed shutter speed of like 1/30. Apertures of f/8 f/11 f/16. So theres not many adjustments for me. I take most of my pictures in daylight and this handles the overexposure well. Also i have to trim the plastic to get the 120 rolls to fit in the 620 camera, and the plastic is softer than Kodaks and trims easier.0
