[Steel, Aluminum] I did a decent amount of research before purchasing this monitor arm to hold my 34 ultra wide for reach, strength and durability. Installation was a breeze. It will hold the 34 straight out without any dropping. Can be put at any angle and position with easy. Would recommend. 5

[17.6 x 6.9 x 4"] I installed a 34 inch Samsung S34J55x on this arm and it works perfectly. The monitor weighs about 15 lbs. The arm allows me to position the monitor so that the viewing distance is about 18 inches. The arm extends the monitor about 22 inches from its base. This is my second successful Ergotron install. Several years ago I installed two 24 inch monitors on an Ergotron dual monitor arm. The results were excellent which led to my purchase of the LX model. 5

[17.6 x 6.9 x 4"] Seems very sturdy. Love the extra desk space that an arm provides. Comes with hardware to clamp it or put it through a grommet hole. Had to watch the video a couple of times to get it adjusted, but was reasonably easy to install. Has a clean look. I do miss a feature on a previous arm that lets me take the monitor off the arm while it's on the desk without any tools, but this one holds a larger monitor so maybe it's impractical. 5

[Steel, Aluminum] I wanted a monitor support to replace the stand that came with my monitor which just took up too much desk space. I have used the Ergotron monitor arms in a factory setting and they held up perfectly. So this was my first choice for home. I know they are strong and will not sag over time. The adjustability is excellent and assembly is easy. Best monitor support out there. 5
