[Laser Phosphor] I was unsure how good of a picture I'd be getting from a projector in this price range. I shouldn't have been. This projector has been great so far! To me, the picture is just as good as the high-end 4k TV that I have elsewhere in my house. This is the best of both worlds - amazing UHD picture on my 100 inch screen. Very happy with this purchase!

[3840 x 2160] Incredible picture. I also own the HU85LA UST projector so I'm a fan of LG projectors, I ceiling-mounted the HU810PW and it's perfect and very minimal and sleek looking. With the 2700 brightness, the picture is even pretty good in a very bright room. The price paid at B&H was excellent and delivery was ultra fast to NYC.

[webOS 6.0] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for our new dedicated home theater, and I’m so glad we decided to go with the HU710PW. Mounting/setting it up is super easy with the lens shift. The extensive picture settings make dialing in a great picture pretty easy; I just looked at some projector review websites and started from their calibration settings then fine tuned it. It’s an amazing picture. We have an LG OLED TV, and while the picture isn’t the same quality, we didn’t expect it to be, and it’s still incredible and a very immersive experience. LG magic remotes are great (even though I use apps on the phone to control the receiver and NVIDIA shield I have attached so I don’t use it). All in all, from all the projectors I looked at through extensive research before making this purchase, I can’t imagine I would have gotten a better projector for the price I paid for this one. Highly recommend!

[Yes] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a truly fun campaign! The picture is clear and crisp. And the colors are vibrant! I was genuinely surprised and pleased. My previous projector was not worth the investment. The picture was blurry. The sound was not great and it was difficult to put together. I was completely turned off! So this was the final try for my household with the idea of getting a projector. Then I was slightly thrown off by the size of it. It was larger than I had expected. I had to find a new place to house it. However once I found a place for it and was able to watch a music video! I was blown away! I can not explain the richness of the experience. Movie night will not be the same here anymore. I look forward to "movie premieres" and football games at home. The cinema quality of my viewing experience can not be compared. I wish I was able to take the experience outside how it does need an external power source. Pre-installed on this projector are a fully authorized Netflix app, as well as Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube, and AppleTV. This convenience is unmatched! I used to hate having to go into internet explorer to log into these same sites. The remote control was really responsive as well.

[3,000,000:1] Just got it out of the box today. Set it up for our next event. It has alot of things that can be configured on it. We will see how well it works tonight at our monthly Praise and Worship event.

[3840 x 2160] Works very well. Replaced an old Epson with it. Maps that are projected have much better readable type when projected on the screen. Everyone is much happier with this projector because of the clarity and brightness compared to the older projector in our conference room.

Took us an hour to setup everything. The setup is simple and was easy to mount and calibrate using the tool provided in the projector. The romote works like a mouse. How cool is that.
The quality of the picture is really good. Great to watch movies on home theater.
Our family loved watching the movie on the projector. Was a good buy for fair price.
The only concern I have with this projector is the app store doesn't have any useful apps.
I was searching for Hulu or ESPN and I couldn't find them. Hopefully a new update would bring them.

[3840 x 2160] I think this is the best projector under $5,000. Even this is $3,000.
Picture quality is literarilly christal clear. Physical design is simple and modern. eARC and ARC function is working fine with my Yamaha av receiver(v6A).
Blutooth-Remote controller is easy to navigate apps. Only one thing I did like was Missing Netflix app. However, from yesterday, 7/27/2021 it supports Netflix app as well. I highly recommend!!

[webOS 6.0] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this projector to replace an excellent Epson HD LCD projector. I was attracted to the laser light source and liked that this LG model had two separate colors which I thought would reduce the likelihood of rainbow patterns and indeed I haven't noticed these at all so far. The 4K is crisp and the picture is bright. HDR mode is very noticeable and I like the range of picture options. I use an Apple 4K TV and Xbox Series X so wasn't too interested in the onboard WebOS but its generally pretty responsive and intuitive so probably useful to have. The projected image does have a small thin light border and in super-widescreen 2.35:1 mode there are of course lighter bars at top and bottom; I'm not sure why with all the adaptive dimming technology they couldn't make it go really dark in those areas too, but projecting onto a wall with custom sprayed paint using MissisipiMan's formula in the AVSforum works really well with this projector and still looks better than the movie theater and is a big improvement over the Epson because of the 4K and laser technology, and is now useable in a brighter room. My advice is save your money on the expensive screen and splurge on this projector if you are thinking about it. I do think this technology is a generation ahead of the last and what's nice is it's also LG quality (I knew they made the best LCD IPS panels for computer displays as we have 6 of them, but now find they make really good projectors too) and really nice design and aesthetics. Switching on and off is fast and reliable and ambient noise seems quieter than anything else we have in the media room. We run a 30ft HDMI cable originally intended for 18Gbps through the ceiling and I was glad it didn't have to be replaced and meets all the XBox and Apple diagnostic tests at 4K/60Hz and 1080p/120Hz and works well with ARC sound too, even with a 3 year old receiver.
