This adapter ring screws into the female threading on the front of your 67mm lens for a secure fit, then clamps onto the matte box.

A: Because of the shape of the tulip hood on the front of the DZOFilm VESPID 16mm T2.8 Cine Lens, the Tilta Cinema Adapter Ring for Mirage Matte Box (80mm) may not work in this case although it has an 80mm front diameter. The lens may also be too wide to not suffer seeing the inside of the matte box.

[4.9 x 4 x 1.2"] Although the Mirage matte box ships with a variety of threaded lens adapters, I like having a spare so I don't have to keep swapping them between lenses. I just add whatever size I need to my cine lenses and be done with it. They are affordable, so why not avoid fumbling around on set? 5

[4.9 x 4 x 1.2"] I have a bunch of these for nearly all my cinema lenses. They allow me to quickly mount the Tilta Mirage matte box directly to each lens. They are affordable and come in a wide range of sizes. If you have the Mira matte box, get these. You'll thank me later. The only drawback is that my DZOfilm Vespid prime lenses have lens covers that slip on over the perimeter of the lens. They won't fit with these adapter rings on, so I replaced them with generic Canon clip on lens caps. 5

[0.11 lb] These are obviously a must-have for adapting the Mirage mattebox to various size lens filter threads. The Mirage comes with 4 sizes, but I have ordered a couple extra to leave on my lenses to expedite changing lenses on set. They are well made and affordable. 5
