The MuxLab 5x1 USB-C HDMI Switcher with Dantefrom MuxLab 5x1 USB-C HDMI Switcher with Danteallows you to connect cable boxes, laptops, Blu-ray players, game consoles, and other HDMI or USB presentation sources to your 4K TV, HDTV, or projector. It also supports Dante audio embedding and de-embedding via IP, to expand your audio capabilities, as well as analog audio input/output. The switcher includes the main transmitter switch and an HDBaseT receiver to transmit video over longer distances.

The switcher supports auto-switching of its three HDMI and two USB-C inputs, and it allows you to toggle your sources rapidly using the switch button, RS-232, via CEC using the integrated USB-A KVM, or via IR remote control. It is HDCP compliant for compatibility with HDCP protected devices, like most cable boxes, and it features advanced EDID support for compatibility with most displays. The switcher is powered via the included power adapter, and the receiver is powered via the transmitter using PoE, so only one adapter is required.

A: This will work with any monitor or television that supports the outputs it sends.

Q: 4. Can this switch accommodate HDMI cables that are 50' or longer?

A: This switcher works with an HDMI signal up to UHD 4K at 30fps. However the switcher itself has no impact on the length of the cable it is being used with. In general, standard HDMI cables send a signal around 25 feet.

Q: 5. Anyone using this with 1st generation Chromecast? I've owned this product for a year, and it has worked perfectly with my blu ray player, cable tv, and laptop. Today I tried to connect my first generation chromecast, but it's not working. The Chromecast works when I connect it directly to the tv, but it doesn't work when I connect it to the switch. Any suggestions? Thanks.

A: Well, the input port does not provide power for the USB and Full Comunication via HDMI to the TV. Hope this is a start point to figure out a way to make it work.

[7.85 lb] This 4x1 HDMI switch is perfect for a home application. The signal pass thru is crisp and easy to set up and utilize. If speed is a concern while switching, it isn't instantaneous, so there is a momentary delay between inputs. 5

[HDMI RJ45] This great little device works just as intended. It allows 3 devices to be switched instantly from a press of a button. We use this in our studio for streaming video into our lounge area projector. This way we can quickly and, more importantly, seamlessly switch from our computer to the live stream from our concert to the projector next door. Oh, and the best part, ITS TINY! [HDMI RJ45] Unlike some other switchers, this device actually finds and connects the active input. The 4k image is clear, crisp, and beautiful. It does it's job really well and even includes a remote control, which I have not tried, since I have no need for it. However if you do, it's included. I highly recommend this switcher. I liked it so much I bought this second one. 5

[7.85 lb] Kanex Pro 3x1 HDMI Switcher with 4K works great , when you only have 2 HDMI and more game systems..lol , it gives you 3 more from one HDMI , comes with a remote, if your using it to away from your Tv to your couch , great to have , not many have a control. but i don't need it .. as its on my 32 inc with only 2 HDMI , and i need more. i have 5 game systems so I need a 2ed one.. and they can be linked together. no big deal, but you need a power supply power switch , that has switches, to cut each plug off to do this . Its great to have for other HDMI device s , if you need two more HDMIs thanks B&H , its a great price.. and its better then order one on ebay , you don't know what you get on line from Ebay, it works great but if you do have a problem , B&H is the place to buy it as you always take it back... works great .. 5
