[UV] Added to my new Tamron lens to protect the lens.

[Glass] There are plenty of uncoated UV filters for lot less money but if you want to ensure that you don't get flares and ghosting with uncoated filters, then you have to pony up for multi-coated ones like this one from Hoya. I'm not partial to Hoya as other companies make competent multi-coated filters as well. Even if your stuff isn't pro-grade optics, it will benefit from multi-coating. I put this one on a megazoom P & S from Fujifilm because I was getting ghosting from uncoated filter that was initially on the lens.

[UV] I received the filters in a black sleeve as opposed to the white mylar/plastic looking packaging shown on the product listing on B&H.
That's not an issue, but the specifications on the B&H under key features lists the dimensions as 28mmx28mm but the package itself lists them as 29 x 29mm.

Other than that discrepancy, I imagine these gel filters are perfect. Only they didn't fit my Rokinon Z mount 14mm f2.8 lens because even though the rear glass element is small, the mount and holder are much wider. But I cannot fault the product for that, I just hope I find some that are wide enough to fit on this lens.

[UV] These small, soft filters fit a holder at the back of the Irix lens.

[Glass] Bought this filter to go with a 50mm lens I was buying and have been happy with both!

[UV] I have found that the 29mmx29mm IRIX Edge Gelatin Neutral Density filters fit the rear filter holder on my Canon - EF 11-24mm f/4 L USM Wide Angle Zoom Lens quite nicely.

[95 mm] Great filter, no color shift, buy with confidence.

[Glass] I recently bought a Pentax SMC DA* 50-135mm. This filter is thin yet very sturdy. It is built with quality in mind. This filter is pricey but then again I would spend more for quality to protect good glass. :)

[95 mm] I have preferred Hoya filter for the last 25 years, I just bought a new Nikon 24-70 mm f/2.8 lens and the Hoya UV (O) filter. I have taken several shots with the lens and it cut the haze over cast. The lens is a little bit on the heavy side but the filter does not add to the weight.
