The compact Seraph 8 MK II PCIe Sound Card TRS I/Olets you connect 16 audio channels in the smallest space possible—only one PCIe-slot width. The card offers eight balanced analog inputs and eight analog outputs (16 channels) on a breakout cable with 16 1/4" TRS connectors. With high-end converter chips supporting sample rates of up to 192 kHz / 24-bit resolution, an outstandingly accurate clock, and rugged construction, the Seraph 8 MK II reliably delivers state-of-the-art sound quality for demanding applications in professional studios and installations.

The onboard BEAST DSP mixer provides enough processing power to create a flexible latency-free mixing console with EQ for all input signals. If several Seraph 8 MKII cards are installed in a computer system and synchronized via the TDM SyncBus, the cards behave like a single device within the ASIO application.

A hefty level of +15 dBu provides enough headroom at the inputs and sufficient signal at the outputs for any connected device.
AD/DA is 24-bit and 192 kHz throughout, with no restrictions on the number of channels.

The BEAST Mixer is a 48-channel DSP mixer integrated into the card's hardware. It provides latency-free routing, 192 high-precision analog-feel EQs, pre/post aux summing, and many other functions for all input signals, as well as playback signals from a DAW—just like an analog mixer.

If several Seraph cards are installed in a computer, they are synchronized via the TDM SyncBus and appear as a combined sound system to an ASIO application.
In the BEAST Mixer, up to 8 audio signals can be exchanged with other Seraph or Clara sound systems and integrated for the use with ASIO.

[AD/DA Converter] I use the SB Z in my Windows 10 PC. I use the SPDIF Out to supply my external DAC, and this works great. Using the Windows Volume Mixer, I can sum all the various sources of sound generated by apps on the PC. But here's the cool part: I can also sum in the output of an external streamer, like a BlueSound Node. The streamer feeds the SB Z's SPDIF input. Within the SB Z app, Mixer, on the PC, i enable the SPDIF input, while under Advanced Features, I select Play stereo mix to digital output. Fabulous! Thanks, Sound Blaster! Thanks B&H! 5

[Internal Card] Great sound card. It just keeps jumping from the regular line to S/PDIF. But, I think that has something to do with my computer. I have to continue to download the driver even though I believe they are still there. Maybe I should just switch to S/PDIF. 5

[24-Bit] Look, the card is great! Plugged it in & it started playing & it sounds awesome! My only complaint- took 7 (SEVEN) days to arrive! DHL delivery stinks! I would have paid for a different delivery option (or locally) if I had known. Try working with a Comp. w/o sound for 7 days!!! 5

[Internal Card] I was aware that this is a 2013 product, but I purchased it anyway because I wanted to connect my speakers (Logitech Z-5500) via an Optical cable, instead of the analog conection that my PC mainboard has. Windows 10 recognizes the card with no trouble, and the Creative driver still works after all these years. 5

[AD/DA Converter] Very good sound card. It came with two mounting brackets so I could install it in my small form factor case. I plugged my Monsoon 2000 system in and waalaa! I've had this Monsoon system since new. Had to rebuild the power supply, and it's perfect now. It will last the rest of my life and you won't find a better sound system. B&H is GREAT! They are my go to for everything electronic now. Two thumbs down on the big South American river. 5
