  • Up to 64 MADI channels at 192 kHz (32 I/O)
  • Up to 32 MADI channels at 384 kHz (16 I/O)

  • MIDI signals can be embedded into the MADI signal via a DAW and thus be transmitted over long distances.
  • The MWX2 Extender (available separately) adds a BNC Wordclock I/O to the Seraph M2. This allows for seamless synchronization with external clock signals or for sending the card's ultraprecise, internal MARIAN clock as a synchronization source—independently of the MADI connections. In addition, the MWX2 Extender adds two MIDI I/O on 5-pin DIN connectors.

  • An intuitive user interface is available for convenient latency-free routing of up to 128 input signals to different outputs and for adjusting their respective volume. It is part of a comprehensive driver suite optimized for Windows systems and minimal latencies in any ASIO DAW.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a M1 MacBook Pro currently running 2 external monitors. If I connect the SoundSlayer to the computer via a HDMI cable, will it still work? Because apparently the SoundSlayer is being identified as another external monitor when connected and my MacBook Pro is only able to support up to a maximum 2 external monitors.

A: The more ideal way to do this without sending video signal and audio signal to the Panasonic SC-HTB01PP soundbar at the same time, would be to utilize the Optical audio input as opposed to the HDMI Video/Audio input. If your audio is coming out of your headphone output by default for example, you can use an analog to digital converter like B&H # GEATVDA to send only your audio signal to the Panasonic SC-HTB01PP.

Q: 2. Does it work on DS1821+ ? I see on Synology website that it will, but wanted to double check since it wasn't listed here.

A: Yes, the Synology E10G18-T1 10GbE PCIe Expansion Card will work with the DS1821+.

Q: 3. Does this Madi card need a driver installed in computer to run with windows 10 and my studio one 5 daw

A: Yes, to use the MADI-USB Combo Card on a Windows PC additional drivers are needed. However, no additional drivers are required for Mac since the MADI-USB uses Apple's Core Audio drivers. Soundcraft’s MADI-USB Combo card audio drivers can be found on the Soundcraft website (www.soundcraft.com).

Q: 4. Is this card compatible with Adobe audition?

A: Absolutely - depending on the version of Audition you use, it may require the WDM driver set to be installed, which is included in the download drivers form Digigram. I have probably half a dozen PC's using this card and Adobe Audition V3.

Q: 5. Would this sound card be suitable for recording audio for some like video tutorials or podcasts?

A: Yes, this device is suitable for audio recording.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with the DS1621+?

A: Yes, according to the link below from the manufacture's website, the Synology E10G18-T1 10GbE PCIe Expansion Card is compatible with the DS1621+. https://www.synology.com/en-us/products/E10G18-T1#specs

Q: 7. Which driver software need for PC when I use Madi USB combo card.

A: To use the Soundcraft MADI-USB Combo Option Card for Si Series Consoles on a Windows PC additional drivers are needed. Soundcraft's MADI-USB Combo card audio drivers can be found on the Soundcraft website (www.soundcraft.com).

Q: 8. is this compatible with DS1520+ ?

A: The Synology E10G18-T1 10GbE PCIe Expansion Card won't be compatible with the Synology DiskStation DS1520+ 5-Bay NAS Enclosure because it does not have a PCI expansion port to upgrade the Ethernet port.

Q: 9. How does this fair as a sound bar for a TV in a small 12 x 12 room?

A: It would be good for a small size TV and room.

Q: 10. Does anyone use the digital audio port of the soundslayer with a m1 macbook pro? and if so, how did you manage to make it work?

A: To be able to go from the headphone output of your computer into the optical input on the Panasonic SC-HTB01PP soundbar, you will need to use BH #GEATVDA.

[PCIe] I an hearing impaired as a result of my service in Viet Nam. (Think guns, bombs and explosions) The VA has furnished me very functional hearing assist devices, which sends the audio from the computer directly into my hearing aids by means of an adapter using Bluetooth technology. The audio equipment found on motherboards is second rate, resulting in garbled, undecipherable human voices. After I got it configured, the Sound Blaster card cleared up the garbled human voices instantly.

[44.1 / 96 kHz ] Look, the card is great! Plugged it in & it started playing & it sounds awesome!
My only complaint- took 7 (SEVEN) days to arrive! DHL delivery stinks! I would have paid for a different delivery option (or locally) if I had known. Try working with a Comp. w/o sound for 7 days!!!

[PCIe] I use the SB Z in my Windows 10 PC. I use the SPDIF Out to supply my external DAC, and this works great. Using the Windows Volume Mixer, I can sum all the various sources of sound generated by apps on the PC. But here's the cool part: I can also sum in the output of an external streamer, like a BlueSound Node. The streamer feeds the SB Z's SPDIF input. Within the SB Z app, Mixer, on the PC, i enable the SPDIF input, while under Advanced Features, I select Play stereo mix to digital output. Fabulous! Thanks, Sound Blaster! Thanks B&H!

[PCIe] Arrived in a timely manner. Well packaged. Installed without issues using Windows 7 and worked like it should for analog 5.1 surround sound.

[PCIe] Great sound card. It just keeps jumping from the regular line to S/PDIF. But, I think that has something to do with my computer. I have to continue to download the driver even though I believe they are still there.

Maybe I should just switch to S/PDIF.

[3.3 VA] Great upgrade for the Expression mixer. I had been using an Apogee interface and wanted more channels, so this is an excellent choice. Plus the option for expanding and using a stage box is great, although for my purpose it’s a studio board connected to the computer. One thing, remember to change the dip switch to use USB, as it comes set for expanded stage box via CAT5.
Thanks B&H!!

[44.1 / 96 kHz ] Very good sound card. It came with two mounting brackets so I could install it in my small form factor case. I plugged my Monsoon 2000 system in and waalaa! I've had this Monsoon system since new. Had to rebuild the power supply, and it's perfect now. It will last the rest of my life and you won't find a better sound system.

B&H is GREAT! They are my go to for everything electronic now. Two thumbs down on the big South American river.
