Packed with 37 billion transistors, the Apple M3 Pro integrates the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and more into a single system on a chip (SoC). Now built with 3nm process technology, the Apple M3 Pro delivers the performance you need without sacrificing power efficiency. The 12-Core CPU features six performance cores and six efficiency cores. The enhanced 16-Core Neural Engine accelerates powerful machine learning models, making AI/ML workflows even faster while keeping data on device to preserve privacy. The M3 Pro offers support for up to 36GB of unified memory.

With an 18-Core GPU, the M3 Pro features Dynamic Caching, which allocates the use of local memory in hardware in real time. Dynamic Caching only uses the exact amount of memory needed is used for each task, which dramatically increases the average utilization of the GPU, resulting in significant performance increases for the most demanding pro apps and games. Hardware-accelerated ray tracing has arrived for the Mac. Ray tracing models the properties of light as it interacts with a scene, allowing apps to create extremely realistic and physically accurate images. [3024 x 1964] My mid-2015 MBP died and it was time for a replacement. Overall I am very pleased with this new rendition of the MBP but I am particularly impressed with the stereo/audio sound that comes out of this thing. Instruments and voices are placed well to the right and left of the laptop itself, with high levels of definition and decent bass. That's not the reason I bought it but I am very amazed nonetheless. This space black version is reminiscent of my black polycarbonate Mac laptop of 15 years ago, but this one shows the several generations of improvements since.. 5

[16:10] Delivery was on time, and the box and product were in absolute perfect conditions. As a long time MacBook user I am already used to the great experience and performance of these notebooks. Now coming from the 2019 16 i7 macbook pro, I can tell the huge difference in performance comparing to this one. I am a software engineer and so far the computer has met all of my needs perfectly. Totally recommended. If you can afford the 16 one, even better. 5

[72.4 Wh] I have been using Macs since 1990 and they just keep getting better. This one replaces a 2012 MacBook Pro that never wanted to quit. I was at a point where I could not update the OS anymore so decided to replace. I could not pass up a sale B&H was having and with their credit card option, I saved the tax, too. This new model is everything and more of what I was expecting. It's super fast with a great screen and very light. My laptops are my digital darkrooms and this one is easy to carry and travel with. There are plenty of ports, I just needed to buy a few new cables for my existing peripherals. This model has an SD card slot, also. This version allows use of two external monitors if needed, I tend to keep it light so have not connected a monitor yet and probably won't. The battery keeps its charge pretty much all day which is something I am not used to. I stepped back from Adobe a few years ago and have embraced Affinity, their suite screams on this Mac. If you are on the fence, get off and buy this guy. The only real decision you should be making is either 14 or 16 and your preferred configuration. 5

[5.3] I bought this 14 M3 Pro MacBook Pro to replace a M1 MacBook Air. The MBA had 4 performance cores, 4 efficency cores, 16 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD. The model I bought gave me 5 performance cores, 6 efficency cores, 32 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD. I decided I didn't need the additional GPU cores provided by the M3 Max chip, and the single-core performanc increase over the M1 and M2 generations made this upgrade a no-brainer for me. I also liked that there is a different mix of efficiency cores on the M3 Pro (5/6) versus the M3 Max (10/4); I plan on being fairly mobile with this notebook computer, so I think this mix of GPU and CPU cores will end up providing a better blend of battery life when away / performance when plugged in at my desk. 5

[6.92 lb] I absolutely adore this computer. It's fast, efficient, has an incredible screen than makes everything else look dull in comparison and has a good looking exterior as well. I upgraded from a M1 MacBook Pro with Touchbar (16gb, 256gb SSD) and this MacBook Pro is a night and day difference. While the M1 was no slouch, this is an upgrade in every single way. Better speakers, better keyboard (actual function keys), incredible and larger screen, faster processor and graphics, additional ports beyond the two USB-C ports, MagSafe and somehow even a better battery. I briefly considered getting the 16 or upgrading the Ram to 36gb, but I love the 14. It's portable yet large enough for multitasking and the 18gb base option is more than enough for the Lightroom, Photoshop and productivity work that I do. If I were a video editor I would definitely spring for more ram and maybe consider the Max variant, but as strictly a photographer and writer, this is already more than enough computer for me. 5
