[Neoprene] Easy to install and offers a wide range of zoom. My only con is that the knobs that you tighten to keep the rotation steady are a pain. Also, the light could be better at high zoom. Not sure if it is thie eyepiece or the 88- Kowa that I have it attached to.

[Neoprene] Just got this scope about a week ago and was finally able to get it out in the field at a local refuge. It's hard to describe the amazing color, brightness and clarity when looking through this thing. It's difficult to pull your eyes away. My previous scope which is a mid range Swift Nighthawk and which I still retain since it is a straight eyepiece and useful for a car window mount and which I thought performed admirably absolutely paled in comparison to the Kowa. I am looking forward to many years with my eye glued to the eyepiece of this truly amazing instrument.

[Neoprene] I bought several of this kind tripod backpacks ever since I discovered them. So far they are the best way to carry my big tripods to day hikes. You could even leave the camera on the tripod when you walk, just remember to lock the head so the camera won't swing around behind your head.

[Neoprene] I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I wanted at backpack that I could transport a tripod and a small amount of gear when taking a short hike. This fits the bill. I wish it had a slightly larger gear capacity, but it works for what it is.

[Neoprene] This bracket is awesome. Fully compatible with ARCA Swiss mounts. I use it to solidly mount my Sony NEX 5R with 35 mm f/1.8 lens via the Swarovski DCA adapter to the Swarovski 25-50 mm ocular. Nothing wobbles anymore and I can also get the balance on the tripod exactly right. Higly recommended!

[Neoprene] This scope replaces a previous Nikon 82 mm lens scope with brilliant color and clarity! Excellent at long range viewing across the zoom range, and for closer views of birds it is extraordinarily sharp and awesome crisp imaging. Love it, looking forward to years of use.

[Neoprene] First set it up on a dark day looking through the window and thought it was ok. Finally had sunny day and got wowed by how sharp the KOWA glass is. At night I could just make out the bands on Jupiter. I want to get the 1.6 extender. Shipping from B&H went perfect.

[Neoprene] A great high power scope. A few points led me to this scope: -Lack of rubber coating. I often wonder how well the rubber protection coatings hold up after decades.
-Actual crystal lenses.
-The incredible focus system for fine adjustments and course adjustments.
-Dual tripod plate screws on foot.
-sights on the rubber sun shade for easier pointing

Fits well into my short distance walking birding trips. Would ideally complement this with a much smaller scope for backpacking. Nothing beats the resolution and low light quality.
I've seen other reviews complaining about the leather green bag it came in. I'm the opposite, it's the epitome of Japanese aesthetic for which country this is made in.
Cons include the lens covers seem extremely cheap and they don't include a nice string to attach them. Also eyepiece cover seems slightly too tight. it's leaving indentations on the rubber eyepiece.

[Neoprene] This scope makes the world come alive with sharpness and color! Very easy to focus. The best way to enjoy birding or just scanning the view.
