A: Very likely an external antenna is not needed. However,it depends upon how good the signal is from the station you are trying to listen to. The radio comes with an external antenna that plugs into the back of the radio. I have been happily listening to my Model One for 16+ years in suburban settings and have always done very well with the included external antenna. The FM reception in this radio is really quite good.

A: At the back of the radio, just to the immediate right of where the power cord is attached, there are several plug in openings. Counting from the top, the third one down is for earphones. Listening on earphones will enable you to listen to your Tivoli in stereo. Enjoy!

[Red Oak] Easy to put together, very heavy duty. Adjusting the desk up and down is no problem, simply crank the handle which takes almost no effort. One small problem was that my desk was missing an end cap for the metal brace. Not the end of the world but it does make the desk not 100% perfect, but still love the construction and will recommend. 5

[Acrylic] I loaded the best of all my photos, about 400, onto a 4 gig thumb drive. Just turn the unit on and it starts to play a slide show. There is a learning curve for the menu options, however. The included manual is very basic. And the unit does not always respond to the remote, and takes several clicks to operate. You can navigate through subdirectories to locate what you want. Undocumented feature: hit zoom, then enter, to pause a slide show. You need to view the screen at a 90 degree angle for the best results. An adjustable support would help with this. My unit came with one bad pixel at the top left of the screen, otherwise, no problems. 5

[Red Oak] I'm 6' tall and at maximum height, and monitor lifted to max height, I have the perfect view of my screen. Easy to crank up and down. Takes a little work to go up, but hey that's manual for ya. Pretty sturdy. Can shake a little at max height. No product label anywhere on the table. Why? Not proud of their product? Still it works, can't complain. 5

[Acrylic] Overall my table is great. Takes a little work to crank up. Down is easy. Doesn't say Luxor anywhere, why? Trying to hide the brand name? Why hide your brand name? Black Oak is very dark almost black, but wood grained. Still nice looking. A little wobbly side to side in full up position. Down it is super rigid. It works great so far after 1 week. 5
