[Yes] The build quality and versatility of this can't be overstated. Solid construction. Works well for even a cased Samsung 21Ultra or iPhone 12 Max. All the most important parts ARE METAL. This is important. And, I find that the stand holds up well for portrait or landscape orientation. Steady during low-to-mid high winds, which can come quickly in NYC. Highly recommended! I don't think I'll ever have to replace this thing.

[Clamp] To start off all of my gear to support my cameras and lenses are from Really Right Stuff. My first use was for a time lapse sun set on Sanibel Island this past week. Mounted it to my TVC-33 tripod with a Quick release lever clamp easy to change how I mount my IPhone 15 pro max. Time lapse was perfect did the sun rise the next day. This product is built like the rest of the their products. The jaws are padded for no marring on your phone. Does it cost more than most phone clamp absolutly however you will have this phone clamp for many years. It’s not for those who want to spend less than $30 . If you are the person who wants well built long lasting product this is the phone mount . RRS products are so well engineered smooth operation a hex key is included and is attached to the mount with a magnet as well as 1/4” x 20 mounting sockets. [Yes] RRS equipment never fails to live up to its cost and this is no exception. It's pretty amazing as to how well this is built and the sturdiness with which it holds my iPhone 8 plus with case. I didn't even have to read the instructions as it was pretty easy to figure out the different configurations. You won't be disappointed in this purchase.

[0.065 lb] What a great job RRS did designing the pieces that go together for supporting mobile phones. I have an iPhone Xs and the L bracket+foot and the bracket + foot all work together to handle most any support situation. Keeping the phone rock steady and using a USB remote gives great pictures from these small, ultra-portable phone/camera devices.

The small "mini ball head" is pure genius for allowing easy adjustments for fine tuning picture composition.

As usual, RRS equipment is pricey but lasts a long time and the cost for me
more than offsets the gain in convenience and capability.

[Clamp] My star quotient is taking the price into account--given that you can separate the two parts, and use the phone holder on a full-size tripod or a camera (standard tripod thread) on the bottom part, it's two useful things for a similar price as a cheap tabletop tripod alone, so it saved me some money. It is not made for precision work, though--it's hard to get the phone holder to be truly level. This is for quick-and-dirty situations where you need something small and light you can stick in your pocket.
