Adding an optional external subwoofer to the ORA lets you further enhance the quality of the audio it produces. The built-in crossover automatically sends bass signals to a connected subwoofer, allowing the built-in drivers to play louder with less distortion.

The ORA are magnetically shielded, so they can work next to older CRT or high-end PVM monitors without interference.

Rear 1/4"-20 mounting holes support optional wall or ceiling mounting brackets.

Q: 1. Can you mount a monitor in portrait position with this stand?

A: The stand is not designed to accept a TV in portrait but it can work as long as the bolt pattern does not exceed 600x400 when you rotate the TV 90 degrees. If the TV is not perfectly flat you might run into run into some issues with ledges or protrusions interfering with the installation.

Q: 2. Exactly how long are the cables, on each?

A: Both the power and audio cables are 3.9' in length.

Q: 3. What is the outer diameter of one of the lower pipes? I'd like to use it as quick, removable setup outside using a PVC pipe in the ground (flowerbed next to a patio)

A: You can try amplifying via the mixer application associated with your sound drivers.

Q: 7. I'm planning to use this mount with the monitor mounted in portrait orientation (vertically). Any reasons this would not work?

A: The only issues you would experience is that this mount is designed to be fixed at a horizontal setting. Also the built in stand can get in the way depending on the size of the monitor as well.

Q: 8. What is the height of the rolling base? Our couch has 5.5 inches of clearance.

A: The height of the wheels is 7.3"

Q: 9. Best Buy sells this and says it handles up to a 65 inch. Your description says it only handles up to a 60 inch. Which is it?

[5.0] The ORA speakers are wonderful for most any music. I guess it depends on the source & quality of the recordings, because some content particularly speech sometimes sounds unnatural. After about a week I added the Kanto Sub8, which improved the overall sound quality. These speakers also tend to smooth volume levels between different recordings which is a nice feature. Listened to music on my iPhone via Bluetooth & I have no complaints. 5

[7.845 lb] I spotted these speakers to complete my desktop computer sound system, and I am not disappointed! I have a white desk, white keyboard, white curved monitor, white Fractal Design computer case, white pod chair...you get the idea. It's all very sleek and clean looking. But I wanted speakers that were high-quality and sounded good, with an appearance to fit in with my high-end computer system & home office. The Kanto YU2 speakers are prefect! I have them connected to a 50w 6 1/2 Yamaha ported sub under my desk, and it's actually a little overpowering. (I would like to add the sealed Kanto Sub6 in the future, I think it would be a better match.) But these speakers are not concert hall loudspeakers, they are limited in a perfectly appropriate way for a desktop, facing you a short distance away. That said, they also fill my room with sound, and I listen to them in my nearby kitchen & living room as well. Quality is very high, they have a very sturdy, well-done construction. They actually manage to produce respectable bass, but are quite complete with eh sub I described. I even love the included Kanto 1/4" headphone cable, I use it with my iPhone on occasion. Otherwise, these speakers are connected to my computer via USB, which required no set-up. LOVE them! 5

[Bluetooth] In love with the crisp sound from these speakers. I use them for my white-themed PC gaming rig and they work like a charm. Love just jamming tunes on these and of course the sounds from the gaming a top notch! 5

[5.0] I love these speakers. I got them with the sub8 as well. The system is by far the best speakers I have ever owned for a PC. It was an easy setup with minimal wires and no extra components needed. It's pricey for the complete setup for a computer sound system but worth the investment. 5

[Yes] I'm no audiophile, I don't know anything about the science of speakers. But I do know that I've had these speakers on my desk, playing music all day every day since the day they arrived at my house. And they sound pretty fantastic at all volumes I use. The built-in DAC is great, and they are straightfoward to use. Physically, the bamboo looks beautiful and matches my bamboo desk surface. I would purchase these again. 5

[Bluetooth] I've been looking for a good pair of desktop monitors for a while now. My primary use is video editing with Premiere Pro. I also use them for listening to the audio from an SDR (Software Defined Radio) and general purpose use ie: streaming video. These fit my needs perfectly. The are the perfect size for my limited desk space. Best of all the sound quality is awesome! They totally blow away the built in speakers in my laptop. The detail is amazing compared to what I was used to. I have no need for a sub with my setup. 5
