Combine several CV signals with the Tiptop Audio Buchla 257t Dual Voltage Processor, a Eurorack module that consists of two identical sections, each of which permits several applied control voltages to define a single output voltage according to the equation: (Va * K) + ((Vb * (1-M)) + (Vc * M)) + Voffset = V_out

The algebraic manipulations possible with this module include addition, subtraction, scaling, inversion, and multiplication. Also incorporated is the capability of using one control voltage (M) to transfer control from one applied voltage (V_b) to another (V_c). The module ships with a ribbon power cable.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. hello so with this device I can stream straight out the camera via wireless?

A: That will depend on the camera and if it has that capability when used with this adapter.

Q: 2. Is it possible to use these in a mulicamera setup in the same room?

A: Panasonic lists this device as working on several frequencies. However, the scenario you are asking about has not been reported. See here for more information. http://bit.ly/2tNXAvW

Q: 3. Can you stream from the XU90 with this device from the camera ?

A: While this will work with the UX90, it is for control through WiFi. The UX90 does not have streaming built in.

Q: 4. Will this setup power two items? Like will the battery power one item and the car adapter charge the other? (I have two low-power LED lights I would like to power that would work with this connection).

A: Enter I wish I could give you a good answer but unfortunately when I ordered this product I received the wrong items. The light kit I was going to use this on was pretty lame too so I sent everything back and got an IKAN light kit. You cant use the 12v car adaptor with the IKANs but you can use some rechargeable batteries mounted to the back of the lights. This was a much better option for me and I am looking to get more because they have worked so well.an answer to this question.

Q: 5. Can the CX350 use this to stream, or does it only stream through the ethernet connection?

A: Yes, the CX350 has an ethernet port that can be used for a wired connection. Or you could use this for a Wireless connection for streaming.

Q: 6. Which software can I download to use this module with a CX350, on both a Windows laptop and an iPad?

A: The software for using the Panasonic AJ-WM50P Dual-Band Wireless Module on the Panasonic CX350 on IOS and Android is CX ROP. For PC and Mac, there is more than one program and the downloads for them can be located at: https://pro-av.panasonic.net/en/software/

Q: 7. Panasonic Wireless module should work with ux180 also? Any experience?

A: This isnt a wireless video monitor and never intended to be. Not sure about the UX180 question, but I felt the need to clarify another users note.

Q: 8. Will this work with a Frezzi mini-fill?

A: If you have a 4 Pin XLR connection on the light, yes.

Q: 9. Will this power the Red V-Raptor XL and Alexa 35?

A: The ALEXA 35 is B-Mount and whichever form factor you went with, would need to be converted to operate this camera. Because the Core SWX Helix 150 Mini 147Wh Dual-Voltage Battery battery has Dual-Voltage mode and can produce 28V output, it CAN power the ALEXA 35. The Core SWX Helix 150 Mini 147Wh Dual-Voltage Battery can also power the RED Digital Cinema V-Raptor, however it must be done with D-TAP, because the battery is too wide to be mounted directly onto the V-Raptor itself.

Q: 10. Can you use the XLR input and 1/4 inch input of the same input at the same time and have them sum to a single output?

A: Either the XLR or 1/4" input connectors can be used for balanced or unbalanced connections to the dbx AFS2 Dual-Channel Advanced Feedback Suppression Processor. Using both inputs on a channel at the same time is not recommended because it could unbalance balanced lines, cause phase cancellation, short a conductor to ground, or cause damage to other equipment that is connected to the AFS2. Therefore, it is best to use only one input connector per channel.

[Analog] It’s not an eight-voice polysynth with presets. But it truly is a system dedicated to exploring how analog modules can interact, and the sequencer is powerful. It’s a very good first Eurorack system, but also a very natural central unit for controlling and interacting with other modular gear. You can absolutely make interesting bass lines and melodies with this thing in the first few hours but my guess is I’ll be fiddling with it for years. I’m a fan. It’s what you make of it, but you can make a lot.

[14 HP] Most of us musicians are not touring with MAJOR ACTS...an act that brings so much gear (i.e. The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, etc...,) to provide sound for the thousands upon thousands that will be in attendance for a performance.

But if you were...the electricity you would be powering up your amp & pedals with would be Regulated thru the Power Distribution Hubs that Major Acts carry...and the VERY 1ST PIECE OF GEAR that is plugged into ANY VENUE that then PROVIDES ALL THE NECESSARY CLEAN POWER NEEDED for the DEMANDS of the PERFORMANCE!

Where I perform in the Florida Keys...over 100 show per year since 2016...most venues are outside and music is an after thought...sticking someone in a quaint corner and providing an extension cord for your gear that is typically at the end of the electrical run.

ISSUES upon ISSUES upon ISSUES over these last several years has had me searching for my MULTIPLE SOUND PROBLEMS manifested in the form of bad cables, crackling speakers, feed back issues, inconsistent volume & mix problems...and never would my resolves fix these problems...UNTIL NOW!!!

This VOLTAGE REGULATOR provides the CLEAN REGULATED ELECTRICITY that is now passed on to your CLASS-D gear...therefore ELIMINATING the INCONSISTENCIES of ELECTRICITY found by just plugging your stuff into a wall outlet or extension cord provided by the venue!

REGULATED VOLTAGE...the LEAST TALKED ABOUT...MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT needed by CLASS-D EQUIPMENT...and this item is an ABSOLUTE MUST for ANY/ALL MUSICIANS!

STOP CHASING YOUR SONIC GREMLINS...and provide your GEAR WITH REGULATED VOLTAGE!!!

[Eurorack Module] Great keyboard, works as intended - and a good amount of options under the hood. Will your keyboard be a bit messier looking? Sure..but a really cool way to customize exactly what you want your perfect 4-voice poly/paraphonic instrument to do. And yes you can go beyond 4 voices using its midi outputs. All in all a pretty cool way to incorporate a case and keyboard in one.

[14 HP] My wall fluctuates between 126-128V. I have a power conditioner downstream of this voltage regulator to monitor if the power is being optimized and brought closer to 120V. This unit does exactly that! I now have piece of mind that my gear will be safely powered in my home studio. I bought one for my live rig as well since you never know how good the power is at a venue.

[Eurorack Power] TLDR: I am SWIT convert now. These are amazing and blow Bebob out of the water.

First off, I have been a Bebob fan for many many years. I have a ton of gold mount Bebob batteries for my Amira and when I bought my Alexa 35, I naturally bought a couple of Bebob B90HS for my travel kit.

Then I got booked on a run and gun documentary, so I need higher capacity batteries, since I would be running solo without access to AC power. Well, no one had Bebob instock and I didn’t have time to wait. I took a chance on a couple of BIVO-290 and I can say I am a SWIT convert.

Pros:
These SWIT batteries will hold a full charge sitting on the shelf for weeks. On the other hand, my Bebob B90HS batteries will loose 15%-20% after two days just sitting in the case.

I get a little over 3 hour run out of the BIVO-290.

The LED display gives you an accurate count on the gauge.

It’s fully compliant with the b-mount standard, so I can stack two Bebob B90HS batteries and a BIVO-290 at the same time on the Alexa 35.

Cons: It’s a bit heavy, but they all are at thus capacity.

Lastly, if you need a fast charge, invest in SWIT charger. I have a Bebob BS2 charger and it charges the SWIT batteries at slower rate.
