  • Built around 72 buttons set as a multicolor illuminated 8×9 array, Circadian Rhythms displays both note data and settings in a clear and precise manner. It takes only one click to switch to vertical view, turning the grid into a set of programming and real-time playing functions like Mutes, Loops, Swing, Fills, Copy and Paste, Grouping, Randomizing, and Manual drum-machine-style trigger entry. Activate any of those functions with only a button press or two.
  • Using an array of multicolor illuminated buttons and innovative grid views provide a highly functional live performance sequencer with a beautiful glowing appearance that looks amazing onstage for both performer and crowd. As a master controller at the heart of your modular synthesizer, the Circadian Rhythms generates high-precision clock and reset signals for other sequencers and devices in your system and can act as a high-precision bridge for DAW synchronization.

Inside the Circadian Rhythms ticks an extremely precise clock with jitter and latency measured in microseconds, for the ultimate feel of the groove. The four modes of clock sync make interfacing with other modules, hardware, or software simple. Whether driving a large Eurorack system or synced to a DAW, the groove always remains tight.

When state of the art chip technology, musically driven firmware, and professionally engineered hardware design all come together in one electronic device, the result is a music sequencer with unparalleled specifications. Start with a powerful and precise sequencing engine that has superb feel for the groove, add internal functions that automatically balance performance and smooth user-interface operation, and finish with outstanding low power consumption, placing minimal stress on power supplies even at maximum output, Circadian Rhythms has a design focused on the requirements of the most dedicated musicians and composers. Long-time pros will immediately feel a machine made for their needs, while newcomers can instantly dive into next-level programming and performance.

The TipTop-Audio-designed SyncBus enables the CR to connect to any number of other SyncBus devices with the highest possible level of synchronization. A SyncBus master directly injects its core clock and running status into every connected unit so they work seamlessly as one device. Hook up two CRs to make a 16 channel device or add a Trigger Riot (or three) to the mix for further experimentation. Plus, the connection is done behind the panel, so there is no need to patch anything together.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do these work with the new DigiBee from Paul C Buff?

A: Incase you haven't gotten an answer or others looking for a straight answer. No they do not work with DigiBees. I tried it personally myself with no luck.

Q: 2. Will it work with Sony alpha cameras?

A: Yes, it is compatible with Sony Alpha's.

Q: 3. Does this item works with the cable of the hahnel shutter release for Phase One XF camera?

A: Unfortunately, B&H does not carry the Phase One XF Digital Camera, and I do not see a shutter release cable designed by Hahnel for use with the Phase One XF Digital camera. I cannot confirm if the hahnel Captur Pro Module would be compatible for use with the Phase One XF Digital camera.

Q: 4. Can you program it on the OLED screen? Or is it only for viewing the status?

A: The screen only displays information.

Q: 5. For sound triggering, can you adjust the sensitivity of this device? Also, can you set it to delay the shutter release after it detects the sound? If so, for how long and what increments? Thanks.

A: I have only used the Captur Pro once while target shooting so far but I intend to do so more often. I had some confusion about the sensitivity but that was more not reading the directions carefully first. The lower the number the less sensitive the unit will be and I needed to make sensitivity number very low to react only to the sound of discharge and not wind noise (it happened to be a very windy day and it took a while to get the right setting to compensate for wind moving over the unit). I don't remember exactly the delay setting I used but it was around one or two milliseconds. You will have to play with the timing. The movement of the slide mechanism is very fast but I was able to capture images of spent cartridges being discharged from the pistol. As a side note I also use the unit as a remote for my Canon 60D. The button between the Lock and the Start/Stop buttons is the remote trigger. Hold halfway and it focuses, press all the way down and activates the shutter. Also, as a bonus it works with my old Canon 20D. You have to order the cords separately but they are not very expensive. The other option is to order the remote controllers but I decided not to do that just yet. Hope this helps.

Q: 6. - How effective is it to capture lighting strikes from thunderstorms at evening/night? And at daytime?- It seems it doesn't come with any cable, right? What exact cables do I need to trigger: Canon 5D Mark 3, Canon 70D and Panasonic Lumix G7?- What is the maximum number of shots that this can take using intervalometer mode?Thank you!!

A: there is a light sensor in the main promodule unit. the other piece is the IR module for ustilizing a wide ir beam to trigger. the sensitivity is adjustable for both light and sound as well as a built in delay of shutter release. To connect to either of those cameras there are two options, hard wire connection of pro module to camera utilizing the HL capcord set. or if you purchase the HL -CAPTUR C you then have wireless connection. PLease see www.hahnel.ie for in depth PDF's of how to connect.

Q: 7. Does this work with the sony a7c as a remote intervalometer for longer exposure intervals (since the brainiacs at Sony decided not to put a remote port on the a7c)?

A: This does not work because there is no Multi-Terminal port on the camera unfortunately. However the A7C does have an intervalometer in camera. If you go into the menu, Page 3. Under bracket settings you'll see Interval Shoot Func. You can set your intervals however you'd like.

Q: 8. Can I pair the Pan Pro with the Headone?

A: No, The Edelkrone Pan Pro and the Headone are not compatible to pair.

Q: 9. can the Captur Pro be connected by cable directly to Nikon D810 with no other equipment required to capture sound?

A: yes this can be hooked up to a camera directly through the correct cable. the sound triggering will work through the captur pro module.

Q: 10. How wide is the IR beam? If someone could tell me how many degrees wide it is or just a good guess that would be great. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!James B.Thanks!

A: The beam width from the transmitter varies depending on the power setting and the distance to the receiver. For example, if the distance to the receiver is about 20 feet and the transmitter power is at high, the angle of width is about 30 degrees. Closer it is wider. On the low setting, it is about 10 degrees or less. Aiming it is not an issue. As for breaking the beam, it is a very narrow zone like less than 1 degree in each direction. Basically, the subject has to break line of sight between the transmitter and receiver.

[36 HP] worked just like the product I replaced except uses a double A battery instead of a nine volt.

[36 HP] For the price, the korg sq-1 can't be beat. I can use this to control all my synths including a Moog sub phatty, arturia minibrute, kawai k1 and a korg volca beats. Its compact, sturdily built and can be used with both midi and cv. It comes with 2 aa batteries (it can be powered by batteries or usb) and a midi to 1/4 input converter. I only wish it had come with some patch cables in order to readily be used to sequence via cv. I made the mistake of assuming it came with and i had to run out and buy some. Otherwise i am very pleased with the sq-1 and would highly recommend it.

[36 HP] Great keyboard, works as intended - and a good amount of options under the hood. Will your keyboard be a bit messier looking? Sure..but a really cool way to customize exactly what you want your perfect 4-voice poly/paraphonic instrument to do. And yes you can go beyond 4 voices using its midi outputs. All in all a pretty cool way to incorporate a case and keyboard in one.

[Eurorack Module] Doing phone remotes is pretty nice when you run them through the Broadcast Host, but the GuestModule1 makes them so much easier. No need to deal with a handset and then puch up the call on the Broadcast Host. Go off hook, dial, and release the call, all from the GuestModule1.
