This H&Y HD EVO-Series Black Mist Filter 77mm Grade 1/8from H&Y HD EVO-Series Black Mist Filter 77mm Grade 1/8includes a 77mm, 1/8-grade diffusion black mist filter and a 77mm-threaded magnetic adapter ring. As part of the EVO series, the mist filter has a dual-mount design. It has 77m threading on the rear and front and can be screwed onto your lens, or it can be attached magnetically using the included magnetic adapter ring. The filter is made with multicoated HD optical glass and features an aluminum filter ring.

A: I agree it would work. I have mounted a Nikon d7000 with 18-105mm lens on it and had no problems. Given the weight and size of the Rode video mic there should be no problem mounting it to this tripod.

A: Pretty sure you'll need a 1/4 -20 to 3/8 adapter. Either that or figure out how to mount a cold shoe adapter to the manfrotto.

[Glass] This specific filter has the ability to create some beautiful imagery. It blooms lights and specific colors in a very pleasing way. You get the polarizer for reflections, you get the ND to keep your shutter right. The gold makes this special though. Everyone does black mist. Set yourself apart with gold mist and see what you can do to stand out. 5

[Aluminum] At 1/8 this filter flatters faces in close-up without sacrificing sharpness or shadow contrast. Adds a subtle 'nostalgia' halo around point sources, but watch for double images. around filament bulbs andExcellent quality glass. My choice now is when not to use it. 5
