You can boost performance further by overclocking this unlocked processor.

Other features include support for PCIe Gen 5 technology to take full advantage of high-bandwidth graphics cards and storage drives. [400 MHz] I love the rear I/O panel. It has everything that I need with room to spare. I love the layout of the header locations which helps make the connections easy and to minimize cable visibility. PROS: -VRM heat sinks do not interfere with CPU fan cooler. (Noctua NH-D15 clears even with offset brackets) -BIOS Flash Back Feature is very useful. -PCIE Slot Quick Release make it easy to remove the GPU. -Clear CMOS is a nice touch. -AMD EXPO Profiles makes it easy to clock RAM. CONS: White theme is not available. Back Panel Thunderbolt not available. SATA headers are located where a longer GPU will block easy access to add drives later. 5

[AMD Radeon ] Second board from Asus. First B650, but so far, so good. Plenty of plug-in options. A hint of RGB is nice. Paired with the 7800X3D and 4090, it looks great.So far, I've had no issues or complaints. 5

[AMD Radeon ] I built my last computer in like NOV-DEC of 2013. The motherboard was a ASUS ROG Maximus VI Hero (Intel-compatible). It has worked flawlessly all these years, and I couldn't ask for more. It still works. I decided it's time to upgrade because I wanted an ultrawide monitor. The last thing I wanted to do was have to tear all the components out and RMA a board, costing me HOURS of my life, all for saving $100 of a cheaper MB on the front end.
