[Bus Powered] For SSD's I've mostly used SanDisk (and a few Lacie drives) but decided to try this one since it is a bit lower priced. It's very fast and I've used it for three edit projects so far in the past three months with no issues. I'm able to play 6K RAW video back in real time, do complex After Effects renders (UHD resolution, using a second drive for cache), and just about anything else post-production related with all the assets on this drive. Plan on getting more of these but after this first trial run with the Transcend 2TB USB 3.2 I have nothing but a positive experience. 5

[0.12 lb] When it comes to fast, quality backups, of one's computer, this SanDisk, SSD is quite superior to many HDD external Hard-drive of the same size. From now on, when I need to back-up my computer, I will only buy this SanDisk SSD or something similar to it. And it can handle large amounts of Gigabytes at a time. I can grab a large Folder with 50-80 GBs in it, and transfer the whole Folder while I am busy doing something else. Many HDDs would freeze up with that amount of GBs coming at it all at once. For the price and size, it is phenomenal ! 5
