A: The Neutrik NA4FX-F speakON NL4FX to 3-Pole XLR Female Adapter can be used to convert a male XLR output connector to a speakON connector. If you need a similar adapter a male XLR connector, you can use the Neutrik NA4FX-M speakON NL4FX to 3-Pole XLR Male Adapter (B&H # NENA4FXM). These adapters can be used with Crown amplifiers as well as with the Bose Panaray 802 Series Loudspeakers.

Q: 10. Can this connect a microphone directly to a recorder? Such as, a Lewitt 140 air to a Sound Devices MixPre 3?

A: This could work for you, but that will probably put a lot of strain on the mic connectors. Using a longer cable, and mounting the mic on a stand, grip, or boom pole - will be a much better option.

[3.85 x 2.1 x 1"] I did not realize that the Neutrik NL2FC was discontinued for some reason or another, but these connectors replaced them perfectly. They will take a heavy 12ga cable. The only problem now is they all look alike where the original 2 conductor connector had a specific look to differentiate from the others in the Neutrik catalog. 5

[3.85 x 2.1 x 1"] I was converting a old banana plug cables to speakON and these connectors were super easy to put on. Clip the end, cut the insulation back, put the ends in the two holes and tighten down with the screws. Done, no soldering necessary. 5

[3.85 x 2.1 x 1"] Excellent conductivity. I was using the cheaper speakon connectors in the past and used to get intermittent connection issues. This is no longer an issue after stepping up to Neutrik brand devices 5

[Female speakON] Great quality!! you can really tighten the posts where the speaker wire attaches without stripping. They also take heavy speaker wire - check specs. For $4 there a really good deal. 5
