The XS70 uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface with 3D NAND flash memory and NVMe 1.4 support to reach continuous read speeds up to 7300 MB/s and write speeds up to 6000 MB/s. Its aluminum alloy build keeps the SSD durable and helps dissipate heat while under load. That design coupled with a MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) of 1.6 million hours, this drive has a long lifespan. Performance is more reliable thanks to its RAID technology support and LDPC coding. Supported DRAM Cache Buffer improves sequential read/write and random read/write performance.

[0.095 lb] So far so good. Comfortably and consistently maxes out a 10GBPS USB enclosure. Will update if anything goes wrong in a reasonable timeframe but I’m a few weeks in and the drive gets the job done as an external video game drive. 5

[1500 G] Needed to upgrade the 64GB Steam Deck to a higher capacity and the Silicon Power 1TB was compatible and at a good price. Bought it and it was delivered fast. Upgraded the Steam Deck with no issues. Took about 15m to unshell and install. Reimaged the OS and was back in business to mobile game! 5

[1500 G] Had it for a few months now and zero issues. Not sure why anyone would spend more for a SSD that just has a different name and logo on it. I have Silicon Power RAM and SSD and have had zero issues! 5

[1500 G] Used this with an adapter in a really old Ivy Bridge system, and it works great. I read some reviews and benchmarks, which seemed to indicate that this was a pretty good value for its performance. The 5-year warranty is encouraging. 5

[0.095 lb] I'm using this in a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot currently, so I haven't bothered testing the claimed speeds as my system would be the bottleneck. As installed, however, I can say that I immediately wrote an entire 2TB game library to it in one go from another NVMe drive, and I had zero issues with that process or anything since. So far, it seems like a great drive for the price-point, especially with the included beefy heatsink. 5
