Power a small modular system with the black Tiptop Audio µZEUS, a 4 HP micro power supply module for Eurorack format synthesizers. It includes two Flying Bus Boards, each with five 16-pin keyed connectors. Simply install in your case, plug in your modules, and you are good to go.

The μZEUS mixes linear and switching power technology that can produce up to 2000mA at +12V, 500mA at -12V, 170mA at +5V. For power, it can use the lower cost Tiptop 1000ma (separately sold) or the more powerful 3000ma µZEUS-Boost adapter (separately sold) to reach full capacity. Standard 15V power adapters are compatible as well.

A: No, you will just be using a 12g sdi cable to get a 3g signal. The unit will not upscale.

Q: 2. For the purposes of an external screen share, my Macbook has HDCP issues (black/flickering screen) that prevents me from plugging a USB-C to HDMI cable directly into my HDMI matrix. Currently, I am able to work around this issue by using a dedicated HDMI switch as an intermediary device. Could I use this instead in between my HDMI Matrix and macbook to convert the signal from hdmi to hdmi? Upstream from the HDMI martix is an Atem Mini Pro so I'm assuming that this Blackmagic device has a compatible video output. Thanks in advance!

A: Unfortunately, the Blackmagic Design Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G will not solve your problem.

Q: 3. I run 2K (SDI) video into this this and it converts (with power) to HDMI 1080p. Do I have this right? With that happening can I loop an SDI monitor to run video out of that as well? Is it too much data to run a 2k Alexa Classic picture through it?

A: Yes, that is right. The converter supports 2K over SDI, but not HDMI. If you feed it a 2K SDI input it'll output 1080 HD on the HDMI output. There is no processing on the SDI Loop Out so that will still be a 2K SDI output.

Q: 4. Sony TRV-350 fire wire live camera signal inputed into what device so the firewire SD signal can be realtime converted and input into a canon HD pocket camera for real time HD recording?

A: No, The Blackmagic Design Micro Converter Bi-Directional SDI/HDMI 12G does not support composite video or firewire.

A: Unfortunately you can not use Blackmagic Design Micro Converter HDMI to SDI 12G with Power Supply to connect DVD players to SDI monitor due to High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection rules.

A: Yes, it should be able to convert your COAX signal into HDMI so long as the COAX has BNC style connectors and the signal it carries is NTSC or PAL, as well as DCI 2Kp60 or lower.

A: The Blackmagic Design Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G (with Power Supply) can be powered with USB-C that has at least 5V.

Q: 10. Can you use this to take an output feed from a Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini SDI 12G Distribution and use the hdmi to send it to a monitor?

A: yes you can as long as the teranex mini is outputting a resolution/frame rate that is supported by the micro converter.

[Analog] I have a few cameras that will not provide phantom power and this is doing the job of allowing me to use mics that need power. The signal through it has been crystal clear for me. And I can't tell you how much I love that it is rechargeable. No need to replace batteries. I've yet to even come close to it running out of power (says it lasts up to 40 hours!), but the fact that you can attach a portable power bank to keep it running if need be is nice to know. That is fantastic. To be able to change between 48v and 12v is a great feature. I'm super happy with this product. 5

[4 HP] I'm using this with a PA system by Samson which does not have phantom power to operate a Sennheiser ME2 lav. It works beautifully selecting the 12 volt option. I am also using this in comibnatinon with a Sennheiser SKP G4 transmitter with an Oktava MK-10. The unit works great and adds zero noise. Highly recommended. 5

[4 HP] This is a fantastic way to get either wireless or wired options using the same lavaliere microphone without having to purchase multiples, which would be far more expensive. I already owned a dual-channel wireless transmitter and a couple of AT-899 omnis, but their connectors are not XLR and their phantom power levels too feeble for use as wired mics. Using this adapter, the AT-899 can be plugged right into an XLR with phantom and used wired, which is great. 5
