In addition, there is a female lightning connector on the same side as the USB connector which allows you to plug in a charging cord so that you can charge your iPhone or iPad at the same time that youre accessing it with your camera. The adapter does not have any slots for cards, although if you had a second adapter that would accept the card on one side and convert to a male USB connector on the other, you would be able to plug it in to this adapter. Ive never tried this so I dont know if the Apple device would then be able to read the card and extract files from it. Hope this helps.
