The 12-Core CPU features six performance cores and six efficiency cores. With an 18-Core GPU, the M3 Pro features Dynamic Caching, which allocates the use of local memory in hardware in real time. Hardware-accelerated ray tracing has arrived for the Mac. A: Yes, the 16GB will be a very noticeable difference vs the 8GB. The computer is non user upgradable so having the extra RAM to start off with his a HUGE help. Extra RAM will help with graphic related programs as well and doing multiple tasks at one time.

[1x HDMI ] I love the larger screen for video editing, the improved M3 chip knocks my old i5 out of the water and is able to keep up with my other machines. It is a fantastic machine for on-set work on movies with decent IO and nice battery life. 5

[2 TB] My previous MacBook (2014) was no longer able to handle my work, it would overheat a lot and was very slow. Now with this new MacBook, it barely turns on the fans, it doesn't get very hot, and what used to take minutes to run now only takes a few seconds. The problem with the black color is that dust and specks easily appear on the surface of the laptop, so if you don't want to have to clean it all the time, I recommend choosing the silver color. 5

[3] Found this on a $500 sale, and finally was time to replace my previous 10 year old MacBook Pro. What took 4.5 hours to export a 4k video timeline on my previous i7 intel chip, took 5 minutes on this guy, and only used 30% of the processor. Impressed. It is a definite investment, but calculate how long you're expecting it to last and divide monthly to get a comparable rate for different models. This method helped me land on this unit in specific side-by-side comparisons for features. Was able to find what I found most important and judge whether it was worth the extra ___$ per month. 5

[1x HDMI ] The Mac M3 just crushes complex video and photo editing tasks. I upgraded from an older Intel-based Macbook Pro and the difference is immediate, especially the lack of blazing hot air blowing out the back of the unit! The screen is razor sharp, detailed and bright. I appreciate B&H having in stock a configuration that requires a longer order from Apple, plus free shipping, plus saving tax with the Payboo card thingy. 5

[3456 x 2234] This was an upgrade for my 2019 MBP that suffered water damage. Although I was unhappy about letting go a machine that still probably had a few more years in it, I am thrilled with this new one. So much faster and cleaner, and the extra 1 in the screen makes a difference. And I am really loving the keyboard; such a huge difference after the less-than-wonderful 'butterfly' version. 5

[18 GB] I love Apple Care - as we all know when Macbooks die, they die specularly, so this insurance is worth every penny. I have had entire logic boards and batteries replaced for free in the past, so I wasn't going miss getting it for my 5th Macbook. 5

[16.2"] Got this because I dropped my older one and my homeowners paid for it. All I can say is WOW. The M3 is truly meant for professionals that which I am not. I honestly don’t know what to do with the power this machine has. I am a novice user. Simple law office stuff but this M3 tells me I need to go to school for graphic arts and use my new Mac for what’s it’s really meant for.
