$657.00 $992.07

With the Nikon CoolShot 20i GIII 6x20 Golf Laser Rangefinder, you'll know the distance to the hole—from First Target Priority, which finds the pin, and the Locked On Quake feature, where the device vibrates to confirm you're ranging to the flag and not to objects behind it. This golf-optimized LRF also features eight-second continuous scan, showing the distance to nearby hazards, pins, mounds, and trees as you approach the green. The CoolShot 20i GIII can measure the distance to objects up to 800 yards away—but also takes elevation into account. Since distance doesn't tell the whole story, it shows the slope-adjusted distance so you know what club to use and how far to hit. The feature can be disabled for tournaments that don't allow inclinometers.

The view through the monocular's lenses is bright and clear, thanks to multiple layers of antireflective coating. The 6x magnification is suitable for identifying targets at mid-range distances. The long eye relief lets eyeglass wearers see the full field of view.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hi, I am in Australia and would like to know if the warranty is still valid if I buy from you in the USA? Thanks

A: I advise you to check with Leica Australia regarding this issue, however, warranties from manufacturers are typically specific to the country in which the item was purchased from. We do offer an extended service plan through a third party company called Square Trade, which will provide international coverage for either two or three years depending on your preference, and will additionally protect against drops, spills, and other incidents. You can read more about Square Trade here: http://bhpho.to/1fMHaTB

Q: 2. What flash unit is compatible with this camera? Preferably a low cost option of one exists.

A: If you are looking for a flash that has manual output control (as the Leica M-A (Typ 127) Rangefinder Camera is not compatible with TTL flashes), then the Bolt VD-410 Manual Flash, B&H # BOMHSF, would be the most economical recommendation, while the Yongnuo YN560-IV Speedlite, B&H # YOYN560IV, would be a much more powerful flash for a slightly higher price output. If you are simply looking for an inexpensive manual flash and do not need output control, then the Holga Holgon Manual Electronic Flash, B&H # HOMF, would be a low-cost option for your needs.

Q: 3. Is the M-A's iso dial made of metal or plastic? The sample pictures here include a chrome metal dial and what looks like a black plastic dial. Its disappointing that the MP's iso dial is made of cheap plastic, but heard it shouldn't be the case for the M-A.

A: The Leica M-A (Typ 127) Rangefinder Camera (Black) iso dial is made of metal

Q: 4. What's the difference between this and a M-4P?

A: The Leica M-4P did not have a light meter, and has been off the market for many years.

Q: 5. What is the megapixel

A: This is a film camera.

Q: 6. Does the camera fit a voigtlander VM mount lens?

A: Any lens with a Voigtlander VM mount will safely mount to any Leica M mount camera.

Q: 7. Can the EVF be used with any of the current Leica film cameras?

A: Because an EVF relies on an electronic connection with the image sensor, it would not be compatible with a film camera.

Q: 8. An M6 (non-TTL) has a battery operated light meter - does this light meter set the shutter speed automatically or just recommend a shutter speed?

A: No, it does not. While the Leica M6 has a built-in battery-operated light meter, the light meter simply assists you with setting a correct exposure in-camera without an external light meter. However, the camera is still completely manual, and requires you to set the aperture and shutter speed manually. The only 35mm film rangefinder camera from Leica that offered automatic exposure was the Leica M7 35mm Film Rangefinder Camera.

Q: 9. Is this the 16 inch? Are the interior dimensions 49L x 12.125W x 16D?

A: The SKB Deluxe ATA Staff Golf Travel Case has interior dimensions of 49.5L x 12.25W x 16D inches.

Q: 10. Does this come with an instruction manual?

A: They do not include a paper manual. They do offer the manual to be viewed on a computer via PDF document included on the software with the camera as well as posted on Leica's website.

[6x] I've owned some of the most popular rangefinders and used most of the rest at one time or another while playing golf with others. As a longtime Canon user, I was happy they jumped into this category with their optics and technology.
As a rangefinder:
+ Locks onto pin with prism immediately. -Faster than all the rest I've ever used, it's actually quite surprising how fast it locks on.
+ Unit vibrates when lock is established.
+ Numbers are crisp and easy to see in viewfinder. Integrated diopter adjustment for those who need it like me.
+ Unit is small, lightweight and fits in back pocket - I mostly walk while playing and wanted a small form factor. Always wondered why most of them are not smaller. Not an issue in my hand to hold steady while taking readings with image stabilization.
+ Rechargeable battery via USB C (no more searching for CR2s). Battery charge icon is lit in viewfinder each time unit is utilized.
+ Zoom function is handy to located far targets and even help identify golf balls- was on the tee side of a creek and wasn't sure whose ball carried the hazard. Used the zoom function to identify the ball from 20 yards away.
+Canon menu is simple to navigate and set the unit/change and modify.
+ Camera is an added bonus; I did not purchase it for that function but have used it and works to my expectations with a small handheld device. Same with the video.
- Only option that some will miss is the internal magnet that other brands have to enable the unit to be put on the support bar of a golf car and help you forget your rangefinder after golf.

[Monocular] After struggling with an older model Bushnell range finder, I bought the CoolShot PROII. Nikon has incorporated some great features into a small, lightweight device. The easy-to-read display delivers clear information quickly and efficiently. After just a couple of holes on my first day of use, it was clear to me the CoolShot PROII would help me with my game!

[1x CR2] This Nikon Laser 50 is better than the 4K Black. I now have both, and did an AB test on them.

They range exactly the same, at about 3700 yards each(best case) and about 1900 on trees.

The main difference is the L50 has a Magnesium case, and will display angle or compensated yardage in the display.

The Laser 50 also comes with a 5 year warranty.

I'm not sure why Nikon called it a 50, and not a 4K Black mark II, but this performs exactly the same as the old 4k Black.

[20 mm] This is the 4th rangefinder I have purchased over the last 25 years or so...And this is by far the best.

Nikon quality optics, clear display, light weight and very accurate. I have purchased other name brand RF, but this one, especially when bought while on sale...surpasses them all.
New features, e.g., slope measurement, flagstick lock-on and variable brightness settings are great.
I highly recommend this laser rangefinder.
