New scene-recognition circuitry and a higher 25,000:1 contrast ratio improve Dynamic Contrast dramtically. Rich Color Enhancer revitalizes color expression to reproduce artwork accurately. Black-level adjustment evolves to enable seamless blending on curved screens, while Gradation Smoother easily corrects color banding. Content with a 21:9 aspect ratio is also supported.

Gradation Smoother and Detail Clarity Processor resolve imperfections for an overwhelmingly realistic experience. Panasonic’s black-level adjustment can eliminate distracting black-level bumps that can sometimes appear in blends outside of the image display area after geometric adjustment is applied. By unlinking black-level adjustment from geometric adjustment, black-level settings can be applied to the entire blend, including the image overlaps outside the image display area, for a completely seamless multi-screen image.

Single-chip DLP projectors are a popular way to unite on-site and remote teams in hybrid conferencing spaces. The latest video-conferencing software layouts can output a 21:9 signal to a REZ12 Series projector so that the faces of remote participants appear along the bottom of the screen at eye level with those seated in the room. This promotes natural and fluent communication between members of the group. In addition, with more games, films, documentaries, and other immersive content being produced with a 21:9 aspect ratio, it makes sense to invest in a projector that can deliver a cinematic experience.

The REZ12 Series features an optical engine and laser light source module compliant with the IP5X Dust Protected (IEC 60529) standard and a refined liquid cooling system that enable up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. Backup Input switches to a secondary signal to prevent interruptions if the primary is disrupted.

To adapt projection to any situation, the REZ12 Series works with new optional lenses and features an Intel SDM-ready slot to integrate optional function boards that expand and scale connectivity. You can import custom test patterns, use NFC function to save prep time, and streamline adjustment with preactivated Geo Pro upgrade kits.

Lightweight and easy to handle, the REZ12 Series smooths out workflow hassle with a flexible design to fit confined installation spaces. It suits new lenses with powered periphery focus and a wider shift range. Intel SDM-ready slot expands connectivity, while a new sensor enables projection angle display via GUI. Preactivated upgrade kits for Geo Pro and improved black level adjustment save time when mapping on curved screens.

The REZ12 Series is near the peak of 1-Chip DLP projector evolution with intuitive features that make life easy for integrators and operators, especially at events where setup time is limited. You can use Remote Preview Lite to check content before projection, import custom test patterns, prep for setup without AC power using NFC function, and control and adjust up to 64 projectors from your smartphone.

[Laser Phosphor] We have used the older Panasonic PT-VMZ50 projector for many years and never been disappointed. So when we needed a second projector, we went with latest version. Not disappointed. Our favorite features are: 1) instant on & off (no need to wait to turn off) 2) bright images in a fully lit room (no need to dim the room lights)

[25,000:1] I bought this to replace my Sony VPL-PWZ10, that wore out its laser. This was a comparable projector, with a few upgrades. Most notable was the contrast is much improved as is the picture clarity. B&H offers the best purchase experience. I order it on a Friday afternoon in Colorado, and they shipped it on Monday, and I got it on Tuesday. It was a pleasure to deal with a reputable company after ordering it from another company and waiting 2 weeks.

[Yes] This was the perfect solution for our needs. Very bright, even with lots of ambient light in the room. Picture is very clear.

[1920 x 1200] We use it for live events as a rental option and Is great projector and brand.
We have purchased 2 more, but in an accident, the lens broke. How can it fix or change the lens?

[Powered: ] I have a small AV rental company in Los Angeles.
I bought a pair of these units and I have been very impressed with their quality and power output. The lens options cover a wide range of throw distances. For my customers that cannot afford to pay 2x as much for 10k, these units are a viable option.

[Yes] We've installed the Sony in our church which struggles with loads of natural light. It replaces an older lamp projector and is much more vibrant with better colour and does a great job.

[25,000:1] Its a brighter version of the 6200Lumen that was very popular. The 1.09 lens makes this projector the shortest throw super bright without the short throw optical issues.

[25,000:1] I purchased this to install in a traditional style chapel with lots of natural light, and no shutters, blinds, or curtains obstructing the large windows. The projection surface is a wall painted with a bluish-tinted off-white. Even with all these challenges, at roughly 15ft away from the wall I managed to configure the brightness, color, and contrast settings well enough to project a very high quality image with subtle detail clearly visible even from about 50~60ft away from the projection surface. I am very happy with the picture quality and the configuration options that allow fine-tuned adaptability to a very wide range of applications.
