Q: 1. To use it with a desktop PC, should I use any Bluetooth adapter (USB dongle), or it may not work with some. If someone can recommend one, it would be appreciated.

A: If your computer already has Bluetooth built in, then you won't need a Bluetooth adapter. If you do require a Bluetooth adapter, you should be able to use adapters such as the ASUS USB-BT500 Bluetooth 5.0 USB Adapter (B&H #ASUSBBT500), IOGEAR Bluetooth 4.0 USB Micro Adapter (B&H #IOGBU521) or similar Bluetooth adapter with a Windows PC.

[XLR 5-Pin Male] This shoe makes mounting a speed light fast, but more importantly, very secure.  The speed light just slips into the slot and then, with a satisfying click, it is secure.  To remove, just push the side button and it slides off.  A good purchase.

[XLR 5-Pin Male] I've tried so many cold shoe adapters over the years I've lost count, and so many of them have ultimately ended up dropping my flashes, especially the metal ones with a screw that come included with many umbrella adapters. This is the first cold shoe I have tried that has never dropped one of my flashes, the combination of the build in spring lock release along with tightening the flashes down means everything is held securely, and the standard 1/4" 20 screw thread in the bottom means I can attach it to any of my stands or umbrella adapters. Highly recommended

[XLR 5-Pin Male] I can't remember the last time I sat a speedlight on my camera. It's always on a stand, even in the field. I had tried to use those little stands that come with the flash - with the peg screwed into the bottom to mount on the flash stand - but the plastic runners seem cheap, and have broken - also I've had my flash slide off when I thought it was screwed down secure. This seems to address both of those problems - thicker plastic (still... wish it was metal) and the locking mechanism to I don't worry about the flash falling off.

[XLR 5-Pin Male] The RPS Lighting Locking Accessory Shoe (cold shoe) has a lot of names on the packaging. The shoe itself is stamped NiceFoto. The package has a brand name dlc and model number RS-3118, on the back of the package: Marketed by Dot Line Corp, but sold on B&H by RPS Lighting. I'm saying all this because I'm trying to place an additional order for more of these cold shoes and now I finally found this one again, so I can order more. I have a long bitter history of bad cold shoes. Either they are not really cold (i.e. they short-out the contacts of the flash), or the flash can't get a good grip on the shoe and there are flashes falling to the ground (and ending up in pieces). A couple extra bucks for a good quality cold shoe will save many hundreds of dollars in damaged equipment, and give you the confidence to use your off-camera flash effectively. The RPS/dlc/DotLine RS-3118 Locking Accessory Shoe fits the flash (or PocketWizard) shoe very firmly, and has a very positive secure tab that snaps into place, locking the flash into the shoe. When it comes time to release the flash (or the PocketWizard that protrudes backwards over the locking tab), just press the button on the *side* of this cold shoe and it releases very smoothly. You don't have to directly squeeze the locking tab itself, just press the release button on the side where it's much more easily accessible. It's made of plastic, but feels quite strong. You wouldn't want a cold shoe that wasn't made of plastic, would you? The cold shoe attaches directly to your lightstand or to a mini-ballhead on your lightstand (I recommend Oben BD-0, but there are other mini-ballheads out there) with a 1/4 inch thread and you don't need any tools to screw-in the cold-shoe, just thread it directly onto the 1/4 inch stud. It's simple, fast, secure, easy to put equipment onto and take off-of. Just a great little product.

[XLR 5-Pin Male] I actually ordered a second one of these after seeing how securely they hold my flash. I have no worries about my flash slipping out. I keep one permanently attached to a DIY adapter for my macro flash. Love it!
