Designed for Freewell 2.0 1.33x Anamorphic, 1.55x Anamorphic, and Wide-Angle lenses, the Freewell Anamorphic & Wide-Angle Lens Filtersfrom Freewell Anamorphic & Wide-Angle Lens Filtersattach to the aforementioned lenses using an integrated threadmount and each help to enhance image quality. The ND8, ND16, ND32, and ND64 filters reduce the amount of available light by 3, 4, 5, and 6 stops, respectively, which allows users to create scenes with shallow depth of field or slower shutter speeds for increased motion blur. A CPL (Circular Polarizer) helps to make colors more vibrant, enhance contrast, and remove unwanted reflections from reflective surfaces, such as glass, metal, and water, while an SMIST 1/4 (Snow Mist) filter slightly softens the image for a dreamy rendering with a subtle mist effect.

The ND (neutral density) filters in this kit offer greater control over light and exposure. Whether you aim to capture extended-exposure shots, alluring motion blur, or well-balanced exposure in bright conditions, the ND8, ND16, ND32, and ND64 filters offer varying degrees of light reduction, granting enhanced flexibility for your photography needs.

The Circular Polarizer (CPL) filter enriches colors, reduces unwanted reflections, and enhances contrast in your photos. It's great for landscape photography, eliminates glare from water or glass surfaces, and captures vibrant, vivid colors that truly stand out.

The snow mist adds a touch of enchantment by creating a soft, dreamy ambiance with a subtle mist effect.

Q: 1. COULD A 77MM WA RING BE USED ON A CROP BODY USING A (CANON 10-22 & 24-105 LENSE ) ? THANKS IN ADVANCE RICH

A: Yes, absolutely

Q: 2. If I have the choice to buy the 82mm Wide Angle Adapter Ring and the 82mm regular ring, why would I not use the 82 wide angle adapter ring? It is only $3 more and it will work on all lenses wide angle or not. Can't I use the wide angle 82mm adapter ring on all lenses?

A: Yes you could use the wide adapter ring on all lenses with a 82mm front filter thread. The wide angle adapter ring has a recessed thread witch allows a filter holder to be mounted closer to the lens therefor reducing the chance of dark shadows in the corners of a image. check out a video on you-tube by Joe Cornish for Lee Filters for more info.

Q: 3. I want to use Lee filters on my 77 mm and my 82 mm lenses. What adapter ring do I need - one for each lens?

A: You have two options for each front thread size (77mm and 82mm). For using filters with Wide Angle (WA) lenses please select the -for Wide Angle Lenses- alternative. This will also be useful for the filters in normal lenses, tele lenses or zoom lenses. The second option is only suitable for normal lenses, tele lenses and non WA zoom lenses, since they may cast a vignette in WA lenses. Q: 4. Is there a reason to not use the wide angle adapter ring for non-wide angle lenses?

A: You can use the wide angle adapter ring on non-wide angle lenses.

Q: 5. Can the 105mm polarized filter attach directly to the adaptor ring?

A: The 77mm adapter ring screws on a 77mm lens. As a polarized filter has threads on only one side that screws on to the lens, it will not work with the adapter ring. I had to remove the UV filter in order to screw on the adapter ring.

[4.6 x 4.3 x 3"] Getting both a wide angle and anamorphic lens plus ND filters is a no brainer. Be advised you have to de-squeeze the footage recorded with the anamorphic lens. And it's a non standard squeeze factor (1.15). However you can do it with davinci resolve free. Here is a tutorial. https://youtu.be/pRe6l456rKg
