A: You have two options for each front thread size (77mm and 82mm). For using filters with Wide Angle (WA) lenses please select the -for Wide Angle Lenses- alternative. This will also be useful for the filters in normal lenses, tele lenses or zoom lenses. The second option is only suitable for normal lenses, tele lenses and non WA zoom lenses, since they may cast a vignette in WA lenses. A: The 77mm adapter ring screws on a 77mm lens. As a polarized filter has threads on only one side that screws on to the lens, it will not work with the adapter ring. I had to remove the UV filter in order to screw on the adapter ring.
