This 13.4 x 13" BB&S Lighting Snapbag for Compact Beamlight 1 LED Lightfrom BB&S Lighting Snapbag for Compact Beamlight 1 LED Lightis for use with the Compact Beamlight 1 LED Light. It features a high-intensity silver fabric interior to maximize output, plus an inner baffle and front diffuser to soften light output for reduced contrast and a wraparound light quality. It mounts directly onto a separately available BB&S 4-leaf barndoor, no speed ring required. Optional Snapgrids are available to narrow the beam spread and control spill light.

A: The light is effective for closeup work, the bracket is handy but generally we use the light off camera.

Q: 6. How is the noise level? Does it seem to affect the audio recording?

A: From what we have seen, the fan is very silent on this light. It would be an ideal light for video recording in that sense.

Q: 7. How bright is it compared to an aputure 300d?

A: Aputure 300d with Hyper reflector: 3500 Lux at 3m. Hive 200c with Super Spot reflector: 3229 Lux at 3m.

Q: 8. I read on the Hive website that you need a battery regulator to power off battery, but they don't seem to sell one, so how can you power this from say one 26V V-mount battery?

[Foldable] This review listed in here by the other person who claims the light has issues, was clearly neglecting the light badly and had no idea how to use it. These are tough, well made lights, as well as having an excellent CRI. 5

[Yes] Previously had reviewed this light but am unable to change my review. I had complained about the clamp not tightening firmly. I reached out to HIVE and they sent me new hardware for this known issue, and it has resolved my problem with the tilt control. They also sent me a redesigned vent that makes the range of the wireless APP control range considerably further. 5

[Yes] First I would like to applaud the built quality, secondly the weight, and lastly the price! When I first saw the light online I had my doubts but when i got to set up I was baffled at the quality Trigyn has really done a great job. I do wish the cords were longer or a bracket to hold the power brick (got my light on a 13’ stand) & a more detailed manual. 5

[Yes] Ive used Arri panels on set and now I see litepanels everywhere, and yes you of obviously going to get more with those other brands, especially in the build quality. But for these lights being the 999$ they are nuts. I would say you could do 70-80% of what a 2x1 litepnale could do, but for 1/5 of the cost. They are super bright. I liked these so much I bought 2 more. 5
