Q: 1. if I want to livestream with my iphone 7plus on facebook, using external mic and irig pro I can control sound for livestream and it would work seamlessly?

A: You can control the input gain on the microphone which would affect the volume in Facebook Live but it's not a pure volume control. But it should still work fine, I know many people using Pro I/O for Facebook streaming with no issues.

Q: 2. Can I pug and play the iRig Pro to my iphone X? Or do I need an app to make it all work?

Q: 3. I already use the irig pre. Recording eats my phone battery quickly. Thus I have it charging while Im using it, with a brick battery. Can I do the same with the duo?

A: You can use the optional PSU to power iRig Pro Duo, but it will not charge your device while in use. Alternatively you can use iRig Powerbridge to charge your device while you use iRig Pro Duo, but the Pro Duo would still need batteries.If you're currently using iRig Pre, you might consider the iRig Pro I/O. This is only one channel, not two like Pro Duo, but it does have an optional PSU that will both power the iRig Pro I/O and charge your iOS device at the same time.

Q: 4. Can this be externally powered from an A/C source?

A: Yes, as long as it is 9VDC with a positive sleeve and at least 500mA.

Q: 5. If this irig pro I/o plugs directly into the lightning port, how can I charge my phone? Belkins lightning splitter only supports 24/48 audio. Can still use this with my mini audio jack on my iPhone 6?

A: There's an optional power supply that can run Pro I/O and charge your device at the same time.When you connect this the headphone jack on the iPhone 6 won't work, but there's a headphone jack on the Pro I/O itself you can plug into instead.

Q: 7. How would I connect a USB keyboard controller to the iRig Pro I/O when using it with an iPhone X and running Garageband iOS? Thanks

A: If you keyboard controller is MIDI compatible, you can connect it to the iRig Pro using the included MIDI cables. The product manual shows the included cables on page 3 and the connections for a keyboard controller on pages 6 and 7. Q: 8. Will this work on my MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) and recording to garage band?

A: Hey Paul, Yes, the iRig Pro I/O will be Mac compatible and work with software like GarageBand.

Q: 9. If I were to run this connected from a mixer to an iPhone for streaming purposes, could I use phantom power from the mixer to power the iRig?

A: The iRig is not able to be powered via Phantom Power at this time. The iRig Pro I/O can however offer Phantom power to a connected Condenser Mic.

Q: 10. Will this send a stereo stereo signal to the iOS device?

A: The iRig Pro DUO will connect via the Lightning port and does transmit a stereo signal to the iOS device.

[Download] These plugins are top notch. Stream is better than Granite and most other granular plugins I know and Fold has a unique combination of distortion and bitcrush you won't find anywhere else. Extreme fun toys for sound designers. 5

[1 User] Metric Halo is a bit of a niche, but it's well worth investing in. The preamps and conversion are so dead clean I don't think about anything other than microphones and placement; they are right on par with Merging Technologies' hardware at a much more approachable price point. The expandability to the EdgeCard slot is both part of their trademark future-proofing philosophy and also just really flexible to have in an interface. I have one unit fitted with a MADI card, and the other with ADAT so my options to combine with other interfaces is huge (right now I'm also using RME, which is secondary in preamp and A/D/A quality, in my opinion, to these boxes). Combining the two interfaces with the proprietary MHLink is a breeze for lightning fast setups, though I would like to see compatibility with a more universal network audio format like Dante or AES67. And as icing on the cake, these boxes are capable of becoming full digital consoles, so in the rare event that I have to run live sound, I can hook up some faders to my laptop and route things in MiOConsole to become a fully functional console as well as a rock solid recording interface. 5

[Download] This is super easy to set up and great at what it’s supposed to do! Who could ask for more? The sound quality is great too. We are using it in a large space with showcases and walls and bad acoustics yet it’s working great! We used to use an Apple Airport to connect our Audioengine A5+ speakers and it was always a little finicky and then refused to work. For quite some time I didn't find the proper adapter. I’m so glad I found this one. Bhphoto was great too! I received it in two days! I could not be happier. 5

[Download] They are not Lippizana stallions more like Clydesdales that toe the line and get the job done. We have used other PTT that have a more fancy button and more stylish. But these are hard core and last for years. Not only on the PTT button but the XLR input which break down after lots of handling. And we never buy the bases that have an output mic cable coming out. They break more easily like those darn power supplies. Always get an output XLR jack on the base. This way you replace the bad mic cable and you are not down a mic the day of the meeting. We have over 80 mic bases and they rarely need maintenance. 5
