A: Regarding the Really Right Stuff BQDS Bi-Directional Plate for Quick-Detach Strap Swivel, the anti-twist lip is meant to be placed in the front of the camera. It will not fit properly if placed on the back.

A: Yes, you can connect Really Right Stuff BQDS Bi-Directional Plate for Quick-Detach Strap Swivelto most battery grips from different manufactures. The anti-twist bars can be position to the front or the back depending on the grip design.

Q: 5. Is this meant to be used only with their straps? Can I attach my BlackRapid to this? Can I use with with my Nikon D-750? D-810?

A: Yes, but you also need a QD swivel. The Black Rapid sliding carabiner hooks onto the QD swivel which then can be quickly snapped into and detached from the QD socket in this plate. I am using this same setup, but with an L-bracket that has a QD socket in the base plate portion of the L-bracket. Great setup -- fast, convenient, strong.

A: Yes, this is compatible with the E584.

Q: 7. I wonder if the kip is too high to futon any Sony A6... cameras. Specifically the A6600 needs the center of that lit shaved down to not interfere with the lens mount. Am I right, RRS?

[Nylon/Steel] I recently discovered Quick Detach (QD) straps from the world of firearms. So, I ordered a rifle strap with QD mounts from China, and I must say it's so much better than what the photography world has to offer. However, I didn't feel comfortable attaching my camera to the Chinese strap, even though the reviews were good. There's a big difference between a rifle falling off and an expensive camera doing the same! After searching extensively, I found the Leofoto strap. It has much better build quality than the rifle straps. My recommendation is to use this one instead of the traditional options. P.S. All new SmallRig cages have a QD hole at the bottom of the cage. 5

[Nylon/Steel] I’ve used many types of camera straps over the years, but I’ve never trusted a strap more than this one. The strap, which uses Quick Release (QR) plugs, works perfectly with my cameras’ Really Right Stuff L-Plates and telephoto lens. Highly recommend! 5

[Nylon/Steel] I ditched the 800 straps for this strap and clamp. I replaced the foot with the RRS foot, attached the clamp to the other end of the foot, and attached both to the strap. It made carrying the long lens so easy. No fighting with the strap or lens unlike the previous setup. I tethered with a QD to the strap via the lens hook for safety. And just made sure the clamp is always tight. 5

[0.71 lb] I love this strap. I never thought I would switch out my peak design strap but when I got a new lens foot with a QD receptacle and I got this strap hoping it would allow me to quickly switch between tripod and strap carry. I think the only thing I might miss is a little padding on the shoulder portion of the strap. 5
