As I anxiously opened the box, LG once again packaged this Gem like a Goldsmith would. The installation took only a few minutes and I was ready to game with 240hz's of Wholesome Goodness. In the box LG included a HDMI cable, Display port cable and to my surprise a remote to easily navigate the menu.

I compared this OLED to my old Monitor and I was blown away by its Deep blacks. I mean I would at times mistake the monitor of being turned off is how deep the blacks are on this monitor.

The stand that comes with has metal feet which is a plus and gives the monitor premium look. This monitor is top notch for that want the best in the business.

[1,500,000:1] Best 27 1440P OLED on the market hands down, gorilla glass gives it so much clarity while reduces glare and reflections a noticeable amount. Needed a firmware update because of issues with Fullscreen games upscaling to 4k 120hz and reducing refresh rate but other than that every other aspect of this monitor is perfect. Got mine used for 600$ because of some minor gaps in the back plastic behind the display, totally worth it. Significantly brighter than other monitors with the exact same LG panel, and the OSD works great with a lot of OLED care options. I would never EVER order directly or even pre-order from Dough/Eve, but Amazon/B&H ARE solid distributors. Threw it on a cheap 25$ monitor arm and I won't be upgrading unless Dough releases the rumored 4k 27 variant next year.


Only real issue is the text clarity that comes with ALL 1440p OLEDs but disabling ClearType for Chrome only, solved my issues, passable text in chrome and on windows. Some people report sensitivity to PWM-controlled brightness and I thought I did too but I just had to reduce my whitepoint and that removed all fatigue.

[Yes, HDR10] Had Asus PG27Q OLED for some time but aggressive matte finish really bothered me. Found out about Dough and their monitor recently. Since I used Apple Studio Display along my Asus before I was temped to Glossy Gorilla Glass finish. This monitor hit the spot by offering super deep blacks!

I often run a streaming service, game, and have multiple sites open at the same time. This monitor's 240hz refresh rate has no issues keeping up as my shows and music never lag. The OLED screen provides a super clear image of everything I am working on and the colors pop off the screen. I also love the antiglare feature so I can have my windows open.

[2560 x 1440] I have originally ordered Spectrum One Gorilla glass monitor from Dough. It has been a great all around monitor for my work from home setup but Spectrum Black with Gorilla glass steps it up to the next level. Inky blacks and reduced reflections are well worth the premium!

Extending my display for quality sound and picture was an absolute must and this monitor does not disappoint. The OLED gives the screen a super clear quality, so my game and movie images are crisp. The colors are very vibrant as well. The Nvidia G-Sync gives me seemless game movement and I never experience lag.
